The Hangover

The boys could be back in town for a new installment of "The Hangover," but not before they get some ginormous paychecks for the movie. Meanwhile, Chloe Sevingy could be getting Demi Moore's recently-vacated spot in "Lovelace," Russell Brand is headed to family-friendly territory and Paul Giamatti is ready for some Shakespearean tragedy.

It's January 26, and you're tuning in to today's casting call.

Zach GalifianakisWhen the time comes for a third "Hangover", the new drink won't taste like the last two shots.

Zach Galifianakis tells Rolling Stone that he's already "getting fricking phone calls" about "The Hangover Part III." According to the actor, the plot would center on "his character escaping from a mental institution with help from the wolf pack." Given how Alan views the world as seen in "Part II," a trip to the looney bin might do the guy some good.

Check out the rest of today's news after the jump, including some new movement on a "Tron Legacy" sequel and more!

What a long, strange trip it's been since the first "Hangover" film dropped in 2009. Who could predict that an original comedy starring three mid-level actors would gross hundreds of millions around the world, or that it would become the new standard of bromance comedy, or that you'd actually want to drink more after seeing where alcohol had led the wolf-pack?

But less surprising is how the careers of the actors involved have taken off. Almost all of the primary actors in "The Hangover" have found increased success in the biz, whether it's as action stars, comedic bit players, or reality TV stars.

How far have they come, and where are they going? Find out after the jump!

Hangover 2The boys are back in town, and they're ready to party. Or, at least the monkey is.

Six new character posters for "The Hangover: Part II" have hit the web, and we're glad that Warner Bros. is finally taking a second look at our favorite people in the flick beyond just the wolf pack. That means Doug, Mr. Chow and, yes, our unnamed little simian, all have their own posters for us to drool over.

Head past the jump to check out our breakdown of the new posters!

When you're walking around Bangkok wearing a wicker hat, a denim jacket and a monkey on your shoulder, chances are good that you have a hangover.

The latest photo from the upcoming flick "The Hangover Part II" has hit the internet courtesy of Cine Marcado (via /Film), and it shows our favorite wolf pack standing around a bit puzzled and distracted. But the still raises more questions than it answers, and in our book that means it’s high time for some analysis.

Click on after the jump to read what's new, what's old and what we just want to know more about.

Beaver BoysTim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have taken over the small screen in their own unique, terrifying way in "Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!," and now they're ready to turn that into a movie. A billion-dollar movie, to be exact.

According to The Wrap, Heidecker and Wareheim have teamed up with production companies Funny or Die, Gary Sanchez Productions and their own Abso Lutely Productions to create "Tim And Eric's Billion Dollar Movie," which starts principle photography on Friday. Even if you haven't heard of the two title leads, you probably have heard of their film's guest stars: Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jeff Goldblum, Will Forte, Robert Loggia and William Atherton.

All of them except for the latter two have appeared on the show before, and there is nothing we would love more than for them to return to the film as our favorite of their "Tim and Eric" characters. After the jump we give you a quick refresher on everyone from Steve Brule to The Snuggler.

Zach GalifianakisSo, Zach Galifianakis is looking to join Ryan Reynolds for "R.I.P.D.," the Dark Horse Comics adaptation from "Red" director Robert Schwentke. That's excellent for so many reasons, not the least of which is Zach's willingness to get in on the action genre.

We've seen the bearded one handle himself in this arena before with portions of "The Hangover," but "R.I.P.D." promises to be an even more stunt-studded affair. With Zach on board for this latest flick, it got us wondering — why haven't we seen him taking on more action roles?

There are certainly plenty of action-heavy parts currently requiring actors, and I see no reason why Galifianakis couldn't take a stab at one or more of 'em. Check out our rundown of the best available action roles for the hairy funnyman. Read More...

The Hangover Part II

Did you have a relaxing time over the long holiday weekend? Good, because the boys of "The Hangover Part II" sure as hell didn't. Two photos from the upcoming comedy film hit the Web -- the first (above) courtesy of director Todd Phillips' Facebook page and the second (below) thanks to Cinemablend -- and judging from what we're seeing here, the guys aren't having the most subdued Thai vacation of all time.

The first film was a total balls-to-the-wall comedy, during which plenty of ridiculous questions were raised with even more ridiculous answers. What happened last night? Why is Doug missing? Where did Stu's tooth go? Where did that baby come from? Why is there a tiger? Do we really want to know these answers?

Well, it looks like "Part II" is going to follow up on that winning formula. These new photos certainly raise some questions of their own, and we'll dissect them after the jump. Read More...

Fight For Your Right RevisitedThey fought for their right to party in hilarious movies like "Stepbrothers," "Pineapple Express," "School of Rock" and "Pedicab Confessions" (hey, it counts!). And now Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Jack Blackand Elijah Wood are teaming up to star in "Fight For Your Right Revisited," a short film written and directed by Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch. The flick will premiere at Sundance in the spring. And we thought Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis were a comedy dream team!

A recently released still of the film shows Wood as Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, Rogen as Mike "Mike D" Diamond and McBride as Yauch. No word yet on who Ferrell, Reilly and Black will be playing, but if this video is just a remake of the Beastie's original 1986 video for "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)," then my vote's on Black as Ric Menello.
