These days, he's a Hollywood superstar, responsible for a slate of classic comedies along with his new blockbuster, "You Don't Mess With The Zohan." And, of course, he'll also be the receipient of the Generation Award at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. But long before that, he was just an upstart comedian from Brooklyn, and that's where our paths first crossed when Sandler auditioned to be an MTV VJ. While many of you were out BBQ'ing yesterday evening, here in Hollywood we were busy throwing the first of the MTV Sneak Peek Week events. With Adam Sandler in attendance at the historic Mann's Chinese Theater along with an audience of hundreds, we held a screening of his new comedy, "You Don't Mess With The Zohan," which finds Sandler as Israel's #1 commando who moves to America to pursue his dream of being a hair stylist.
While the movie was entertaining enough, the biggest part of the night came after the lights went up, as Sandler was ushered out for a Q&A session hosted by our own Josh Horowitz. (Read the rest of the report and see more pics after the jump!) Read more...
