arnett.jpgWill Arnett's got a problem. Sure he's a wildly in-demand comic player, but "A lot of stuff I do I encourage people I know to not go see," he joked. "There are things that I don't need my folks to know that I did - that I play Xbox Live a lot. They don't need to have the image of their 37-year-old son with a headset talking to his buddies about going to war."

Well, call Grandma and invite the kids, Arnett finally has a project he's ready to share with the whole family, the CGI adaptation of Dr. Seuss's "Horton Hears a Who," where he voices "Carol Burnett's bagman," Arnett said of Vlad the Vulture, "a part that I never thought I'd get." Read more...

For one brief, shining moment, it seemed as though the worlds of Hasselhoff cheese and Will Arnett chortles were finally coming together as one. The "Arrested Development" funnyman had been cast as the voice of K.I.T.T. in the new "Knight Rider" TV movie, and visions were already running through our heads of G.O.B. sarcastically telling the new young actor in the leather jacket to deploy his own damn grappling hook.

Unfortunately, Arnett was replaced last week by Val Kilmer, largely because of a conflicting voiceover contract he has with a major car company. When the movie airs this weekend, no one will be able to hear Arnett's velvety voice - unless, of course, you're a regular visitor to the MTV Movies Blog.

Will ArnettIt was barely eight weeks ago that Jason Bateman broke the big news to us: Plans for an "Arrested Development" movie were gaining steam, and the Bluth family hoped to begin cornballing soon after the resolution of the strike.

Now, his older brother G.O.B. is breathing a sigh of relief since Hollywood is going back to work — and he's eager to once again make magic. "Yeah, we’ve talked about it. We are currently talking about it. But not now, because you and I are talking! And that’d be ridiculous," grinned "AD" smartass Will Arnett. "But no, we are talking about making the movie."

The beloved show was unique not only because it was so funny, but in that all the cast members genuinely liked each other. So all indications are that the entire team — from Bateman and Arnett to Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Michael Cera — would return for series mastermind Mitchell Hurwitz. Jason Bateman in 'Arrested Development'Following on the heels of our just-published story on the quasi-reunion of Michael Cera and Jason Bateman in "Juno", I wanted to put up some additional news on what might become an "Arrested Development" reunion for real.

"We would all love to get back together and maybe do something with the show in the future," the former (and possibly future) Michael Bluth said during the interview, revealing that talks are still alive. "But I don't know when -- or how -- that would happen."

"Maybe it could be as a movie or something," Bateman reasoned, saying that the emergence of "Superbad" star Cera -- and improv comedies in general -- have created a more welcoming environment for the dysfunctional clan. "We'll see. We'll let the adults figure it out." Read more...

In "Horton Hears a Who," Jim Carrey returns to Dr. Seuss land, although this time it's animated and with a co-starring lineup that includes such comedic talent as Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Dane Cook, Will Arnett, Carol Burnett and Dan Fogler.

For Fogler -- who can be seen shortly in the ping pong epic "Balls of Fury" -- it's a two-fer, as he tackles the voice of both a monkey king and a microscopic villain. In our exclusive interview below, he discusses his roles and even dishes out some lines.

Starring Will Arnett and "SNL" castmember Will Forte, "The Brothers Solomon" finds two socially awkward brothers desperately trying to give their dying father a grandchild. That could mean finding their perfect mates or, as seen in the below clip (which features the film's director and "Mr. Show" star Bob Odenkirk), going the adoption route. "The Brothers Solomon" opens September 7.
