Men In Black 3WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's arrest in London kicked up some tweet commentary in the feed today. Amid all of the critics and supporters, though, James Urbaniak thinks Assange would be a fine "Law and Order" character.

Wil Wheaton, meanwhile, attempted to leak the secrets of creating paper Darth Vader snowflakes on his account, and the pictures show that he came very close. Elsewhere, Tyrese Gibson didn't divulge anything new from the set of "Men in Black 3," but he did hang out with Will Smith and try on some shoes. You'll find his comments, along with Dax Shepard and a monkey, Bret Easton Ellis' praise for Susan Boyle and Seth MacFarlane on his relationship with the U.K. down below.

Wil Wheaton summed up the reactions of gamers everywhere today when 2K Games revealed at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle that a playable version of the epically delayed game "Duke Nukem Forever" would be playable for the show.

Others in Twitter-Wood were more concerned with movies, which is appropriate since that's where they make their money. Kristen Bell has been prodding at her followers to tell Warner Bros. they want to see a "Veronica Mars" movie, Ashton Kutcher checked out the "Family Guy" take on "Return of the Jedi," and Rainn Wilson discussed a remake of "The Rocker." Check out what he'd like to do with that down below and see who's going to a midnight screening of "Machete."

Find out what they jumped on after the break. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for September 3, 2010. Read More...

If you didn't find yourself on the guest list for the Emmy Awards last night, numerous nominees and other attendees with camera phones decided to help you out by sharing the views from their seats. Mindy Kaling shared what was going on in the "Office" block, while John Hodgman captured a moment with Jimmy Fallon on camera and Miranda Cosgrove showed off her dress.

Elsewhere, the "Mad Men" cast, which nabbed the statue for best drama much have been encouraging for the show's cast members, like Rich Sommer, who tweeted that they've wrapped filming for the current season. You can find out how he felt on the way out below, as well as who watched a Quentin Tarantino-inspired burlesque show and which movie Emma Roberts wants to see in 3-D.

Be warned, there was some adult content in the Twitter-Wood feed today. As they appear below, Michael Ian Black's feelings about oatmeal and Russell Brand's interaction with Elmo have been made safe for work, but I can't promise anything after you've clicked on through to their Twitter pages.

The big-news topics of discussion today were of course Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston's break-up redux and A-Rod's new home run benchmark, though, and those reactions have not been left out. Find out who you agree with and why Patton Oswalt wants to see "The Expendables" after the jump.

Wil WheatonMake no mistake about it: Wil Wheaton has it going on. The former "Star Trek" actor has transformed himself from his boyish Wesley Crusher image to become an author, columnist and veritable lightning rod for all things geeky goodness — and his geek icon status hasn't gone unnoticed by those around him.

Today's Daily TwitPic refers to a curious comment Wheaton made yesterday. He gloated about "the wrap gift [he] got from [his] hair and makeup goddesses," following the statement with a photo of his alleged gift. But the photo contains various items and objects that could easily be gifts. Is he referring to the photo's natural focal point, Wheaton's dolphin-studded T-shirt? Is he talking about the various pieces of equipment in the background behind him? Perhaps those two rings on each hand are new gifts from the makeup department. You just never know with Wheaton! Lindsay LohanSlams and jokes flew fiercely in Twitter-Wood today, what with Levi Johnston's public apology to the Palin family and Lindsay Lohan's sentencing. Kim Kardashian contributed some positivity to the situation, though, sending good vibes to Lohan.

Elsewhere, no one was tweeting good things about the heat wave in the U.S. — at least no one in my feed. You can check out what Ashley Greene and Mark Webber think about the weather after the jump along with Edi Gathegi's travel plans, what Alison Brie's been having to do for "Scream 4" and a photo from a day in the life of Wil Wheaton.

Vuvuzelas and Nintendo's 3DS are raking in the comments on Twitter right now, and as with most things, some people are fans and some are not. Stephen Colbert chose an anti-3DS stance last night in one of his posts, whereas Russell Brand happens to be a fan of those horn noises at the World Cup.

I think it's safe to say that most of Twitter-Wood's citizens are fans of "Entourage." I'm personally a fan of the great photography the show has been able to generate for the column here. Lenny Kravitz happens to be the star today, and hopefully by the time this goes live Autumn Reeser will have decided on what to wear for the show's Season 7 premiere.

These hot issues and more appear in Twitter-Wood for June 16, 2010. Read More...

Have you been having Facebook problems lately? Lindsay Lohan has, judging from her recently tweeted frustrations. She says she's lost her original account and name, all due to some shenanigans pulled by a hacker.

The biggest shenanigan in the Gulf of Mexico is still on tweeters minds elsewhere in Twitter-Wood. Rainn Wilson was inspired by President Barack Obama's "kick ass" comments today, and Stephen Colbert has been pontificating as usual. You can decide which of them knows what he's talking about below alongside Wil Wheaton's kick-ass Tardis cake and a look at Gary Sinise playing guitar at USO show.

Not since Frankie Muniz's visit to a Jonas Brothers concert last August have the lads appeared in a Twitter Pic of the Day, but Danny DeVito contributed a true masterpiece today — and one that will surely please foot fetishists the world over.

On a more serious note, you probably all know by now that former Black Sabbath frontman Ronnie James Dio passed away yesterday. Twitter-Wood was certainly aware, and memories from Mandy Moore, Brian Posehn and William Zabka have all been duly retweeted after the jump. There, you can also find out which former "Star Trek: The Next Generation" actor contributed to "Red Dead Redemption," whose trip to Monaco got cancelled thanks to a volcano, and who bonded with Toby Kieth over a couple Dodgers games. Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy announced they were splitting yesterday on their Twitter accounts, and while it's never as fun to read the break-up tweets as it is to watch Frankie Muniz hold a funeral for his dead cactus, you have to hand it to the two of them for keeping things classy (in 140 characters or less).

In other more entertaining tweets, Richard Kelly posted that he's pretty sure he witnessed a Transformer guest appearance in "Clash of the Titans." I haven't seen it myself yet, but you can find out if you agree with him after the jump. His thoughts are retweeted along with Jackie Chan's birthday cake, memories of a homeless "iCarly" fan and the hotel David Spade was staying in when he got invited to join "SNL." I present to you Twitter-Wood for April 7th, 2010. Read More...
