So no huge shock then that "Scary Movie" spoofmasters the Wayans Bros. have come along with "Dance Flick," their parody-filled ode to those who get served. The long-gestating Wayans Brothers’ “Munsters” flick is closer than ever to happening, Shawn Wayans told MTV News, with the team behind “Scary Movie” and “Little Man” finalizing work on their third draft of the script.
“I’m almost ready. It’s almost ready to be shot,” Wayans insisted during a late night shoot on his newest film, the musical spoof “Dance Flick.” “We had to finish this movie and now we’re going through our third polish on ‘The Munsters.’”
Rumors have continued to swirl about the project since the Brothers first announced their involvement in the summer of 2004, but Shawn is quick to point out that their mindset hasn’t really changed all that much in the four years since: they are still placing the family in modern times and they still don’t have any plans to star.
