Bill and TedIt's Monday, which means the internet is basking in the glow of yesterday's brand new episode of "Game of Thrones." If you went anywhere near a computer in the past 24 hours, you'd know that everybody had something to say about the HBO epic, but we found some celebrity commentary that was a wee-bit outside of the mainstream perspective.

Meanwhile, "Water For Elephants" opened in a strong third place at this weekend's box office, but has garnered mixed reviews. While Hollywood's fickle critics are split, the celebrity consensus is overwhelmingly positive, at least with a sample size of two.

And you know how we told you that a "Bill and Ted 3" script was just weeks away from completion? Turns out that it's already done, and it's in co-star Alex Winter's hands. Station!

I'm @TravisHelwig and this is Twitter-Wood for April 25, 2011.

RioFROM MTV MOVIES: The box office got a boost from kids over the holiday weekend as "Rio" held on to the top spot with moviegoers and the Easter-themed "Hop" crossed the $100 million mark, according to studio estimates. Overall ticket sales were up 39 percent from the same period last year. Strengthened by 3-D showings, the animated "Rio" earned $26.8 million for a two-week domestic total of $81.2 million.

Filmmaker Tyler Perry has released three movies around Easter, and this year's entry, "Madea's Big Happy Family," sat right in the middle of his scorecard, with a $25.7 million debut ("Meet the Browns" opened with $20.1 million in 2008; "Why Did I Get Married Too?" made $29.3 million last year) but suffered the lowest debut of any of the entries in his poorly reviewed "Madea" series. Still, that was good enough to take the #2 spot for the weekend.

Robert Pattinson did double the business of his last non-"Twilight" starring role with "Water for Elephants," which debuted with $17.5 million to land at #3 on the box-office tally. Of course, last year's "Remember Me" didn't have Academy Award winners Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz or best-selling source material from novelist Sara Gruen. The romantic drama opened on par with the similarly themed "The Notebook," adjusted for inflation. "Elephants" has split critics almost down the middle, according to movie review website Rotten Tomatoes.

It's been about a month since we heard anything about Francis Lawrence's planned Houdini film, but with "Water for Elephants" hitting theaters this weekend he's ready to start looking ahead.

When MTV News caught up with the director at the "Water for Elephants" red carpet, he was willing to share what originally drew him to the project. "I'm interested in worlds and one of the things that's really exciting about being a filmmaker is you get to kind of dive into something that you're not an expert in and you get to immerse yourself in," he said.

Robert Pattinson never makes it easy for us.

All this week, in preparation for 'MTV First: Robert Pattinson' — the 30-minute live chat with the superstar, which aired tonight — we counted down our all-time favorite RPattz MTV moments. Turns out when it's someone like Rob, who practically churns out memorable moments and quotes at every turn, it's not that easy to do.

Now, once again we are faced with the dilemma of picking which parts of our evening with Rob we liked the best. After much deliberation, and OK, multiple viewings, we finally came up with our picks for the five most memorable moments. Check them out after the jump!

Robert Pattinson is switching to Team Jacob, but it's not because he's turning his back on his "Twilight" loyalties — in that neck of the woods, he's firmly and permanently on Edward's side of the aisle — but rather because he's assuming an all-new identity as Jacob Janowski in "Water for Elephants," arriving in theaters on April 22.

Rob appeared on MTV and MTV.com tonight for "MTV First: Robert Pattinson," a 30-minute interview between MTV's Josh Horowitz and the "Twilight" hunk where he fielded questions from his fans and premiered an exclusive new clip from "Water for Elephants." But if you missed the show, no worries — we've got that clip right here!

If the headline of this video hasn't already enticed you to watch, then the mock MPAA rating/preview banner our brilliant digital producers here at MTV News have created should. "Rated S for Smoldering," "contains longing gazes, perfect hair." Not to mention the opening bars of Usher's oh so romantic "OMG" playing in the background...

Robert Pattinson fans, this one's for you. Feast your eyes upon one of our finest video compilations yet, the "Smoldering Robert Pattinson Trailer Mash-Up."

In this surefire favorite, MTV News has compiled video clips of the RPattz at his finest (via trailers for "Twilight," "Little Ashes," "Water For Elephants" and "Remember Me"): lingering gazes across the parking lot in "Twilight," the casual-yet-perfect "doorway lean" in "Water for Elephants," sweet nothings whispered during one of 100 emotional chats between Edward and Bella...

In how many ways does Robert Pattinson smolder? Let us count... RPattz smolders the subway, looking out a dirty window, in a tux, in a vest, he even smolders in that "New Moon" scene when he walks out into the sun and you can see his crazy white chest (that's not in this video, but I had to get something in there that rhymed, Dr. Suess style). Pattz smolders in that "dazzling" meadow scene in "Twilight," whilst climbing trees, throwing branches, dancing at the prom, meeting elephants, covered in whipped cream? Perhaps there's a pie-eating contest-turned-food-fight in "Elephants."

The video continues with his expertise in grasping his lucky leading ladies ever so slightly (and sexily?) around the neck, and pulling them in close to him... Reese Witherspoon, Kristen Stewart, Emilie de Ravin, all poised for a perfect kiss. And then, out of nowhere, there's Pattinson punch! Quick clips of his fight/action scenes, and then, thankfully, the video concludes with a compendium of more Pattinson-patented smolder.

So what do you think? Did we do his smolder justice? Tell us in the comments!

Robert Pattinson in Water for ElephantsThe trailer for "Water for Elephants" has stampeded its way onto the Internet, giving movie fans a beautifully shot look at the adaptation of Sara Gruen's bestselling novel and its beautiful stars, Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson.

The first thing that occurs to us watching this trailer is that it's a whole lot like "Titanic"... except that the events unfold amid a traveling circus rather than upon a giant ocean liner. Depression-era setting? Check! Love triangle with beautiful woman, overbearing older lover and baby-faced younger suitor? Check! Climactic disaster providing the backdrop for the resolution of all things? Big-time check! Watch the trailer after the jump. Read more...
