It’s a question that has plagued TV-lovers for generations: what happens to all those canceled TV shows and their beloved characters when they vanish into pop culture oblivion? Since "Veronica Mars" ended its run in 2007, fans of the much-loved teen-detective series have been waiting anxiously for the show to make its big return in the form of a movie. Appearing throughout most of the second of the season, Gia was a one-time friend to Veronica who broke off the friendship when Veronica began investigating Gia's father, baseball team owner Woody Goodman.
Though Krysten's character sort of disappeared as Veronica left for college in season three, she remained a fan-favorite. A potential "Mars" movie was news to Gia, but she was quick to announce her willingness to participate. Read more...
