MTV News' Kim Stolz has already made a name for herself in the City That Never Sleeps. But now that she's in L.A. for this weekend's Movie Awards, she needed a few lessons on adapting to the Town of Hangin' Around.

"I need some advice," the newly brown-haired correspondent pleaded, hunting for stars at L.A.'s swank Le Montrose hotel. "What sort of things does a big star like yourself do all day?"

"You're looking at it," grinned diminutive funnyman Verne Troyer, lying in the sun poolside.

On Tuesday, Stolz and Troyer met up for an afternoon of living large with Hollywood's smallest star. The always-affable Troyer, who once again teams with his "Austin Powers" cohort Mike Myers for June 20th's "The Love Guru," took to Kim so quickly that Stolz might just have her very own Mini-She. Verne TroyerWe all remember the star-packed cameos from "Austin Powers in Goldmember," the third installment in the spy spoof series that featured everybody from Tom Cruise to Steven Spielberg, Danny DeVito to Britney Spears. Now, with "The Love Guru" just two months away, could Mike Myers once again have stars in his eyes?

"Yes, she's in the movie," Verne Troyer confirmed this week, speaking about a formerly-top-secret appearance by Jessica Simpson. "There are a lot of cameos in this."

The June 20th film features Myers' first original character since his world-famous shag-adellic spy, casting him as the meditative self-help guru Pitka, who is hired by the Toronto Maple Leafs to settle the romantic difficulties of the hockey team's star player. Although Myers has done his best to keep the "Guru" cameos secret, it sounds like Pitka will be seen helping at least one famous person to get her romantic life in order. Read more...

Best known as Mini-Me in the "Austin Powers" trilogy, pint-sized player Verne Troyer stars as a member of a traveling theater group in Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," otherwise known as the film that tragically features Heath Ledger's final performance.

When we caught up with Troyer -- who is currently starring in Uwe Boll's "Postal" and will soon be seen in Mike Myer's "Love Guru" -- the actor became visibly emotional when discussing his work with Ledger, thanking his Aussie colleague for "letting him be part of his life." Watch the poignant moment below, and then click here for more of Troyer's tribute to his fallen friend.

Jessica AlbaJessica Alba's no stranger to dangerous foes -- the Silver Surfer, the Yellow Bastard, that SOB Dane Cook (we kid!) -- but Alba's biggest ever cinematic enemy might very well wind up being the smallest. "Me and Verne [Troyer] go at it a lot!" Alba said of her upcoming "The Love Guru" co-star. "We're going to be very mean to each other. We've had some combative words." Check out our full Jessica Alba interview here.

Alba and Troyer square off in Mike Myers' "The Love Guru," which the 26-year-old Alba began filming last week. Verne plays the coach of a Toronto hockey team while Jessica laces up as the owner. "Basically my family is cursed," she explained. "Ever since we've owned this hockey team they can't win a Stanley Cup. They all blame me." (After the jump, video of Alba discussing her date with Troyer.) Read more...
