Kellan LutzWith only seventeen days left until “Twilight” hits a theater near you, the actors are already beginning to reap the fringe benefits of their newfound fame. This week’s “Twilight” Tuesday catches up with Kellan Lutz, who freely admits that his recent gig starring in the upcoming video for Hinder’s “Without You” came his way after the band started hearing about his “Twilight” buzz. And much like Cam Gigandet, Robert Pattinson and the others, the man sometimes known as Emmett Cullen is eagerly looking forward to a long Hollywood career.

Now, a new film is part of that future.

“I’m gonna be doing [a movie] in Connecticut in December, it’s called ‘Warrior,’” he revealed to us. “It’s a sports movie about a lacrosse player whose dad dies in the military.”

Although little is currently known about the flick or his co-stars, Lutz said that the role will offer him the chance to stretch some dramatic muscles, while simultaneously dealing with a timely subject. “[My character] has to cope with [the death], and not having a father,” explained the star, who also depicts a lacrosse player in his current recurring “90210” role. “[So he] just goes on a rebellious stage.” Read more...

Happy "One Month Until Twilight" Day, everybody! Today's "Twilight" Tuesday shines a spotlight on Anna Kendrick, a talented actress who is so down-to-earth that she's definitely…well, part of a 20-way-tie for my favorite actor in the upcoming movie.

Believe it or not, there are still some "Twilight" haters out there trying to stir the pot. And as the series' young stars continue to grow in fame, I'm sure we'll hear even more stories trying to invent feuds between them.

"My mom tells me this stuff and I wish she didn't," laughed Kendrick when we spoke with her, discussing a rumored rift between herself and Kristen Stewart. "But she reads everything, and you know, she is my mom! She was like, 'Somebody said that you were mean on set,' and I was actually like horrified, you know? Maybe I was having a bad day, and did I take it out on the wrong person? I felt so awful." Read more...

TwilightWith just over a month to go before "Twilight" finally hits theaters, the news is coming at fans faster than Tyler Crowley's van. Just in the last few days, we've had the announcement of the "Twilight" soundtrack songs, the revelation that part of the film will "Premiere" at the Rome Film Festival, and building buzz over the final trailer scheduled to premiere this week.

Our newest "Twilight" Tuesday brings you Part III of our popular "Stars Answer Fan Questions" series, so be sure to head on over and watch all those fun videos. We also wanted to bring you up-to-date on a few other key "Twilight" happenings, being engineered by some of Stephenie Meyer's biggest fans:

- Michael Welch has been added to the panel of the "TwilightLive" podcast, which will be held at Borders in the Westwood section of Los Angeles on November 16th, just a few hours before the film's red carpet premiere. Those of you who remember our coverage of the NYC event know that this is not to be missed! The show will also feature panelists from TwilightSeriesTheories, Imprint (the podcast of TwilightSource), His Golden Eyes, TwiCon, and more. The event begins at 2 p.m. PT, and Welch will appear for a question-and-answer session. Mike/Mike will also be signing autographs, but please try to remain fully clothed if possible. If you are planning on coming to the event, please RSVP with the amount of people in your party to twilightlive@gmail.com. Maybe we'll see you there! Read more...

So, by now you're probably aware that the track listing for the "Twilight" soundtrack was announced earlier today. You already knew Paramore and Perry Farrell were on there, and it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Muse would make the cut too. But after that, all bets were off.

Given author Stephenie Meyer's close relationship with music — she posts a "playlist" for each book in the series on her official site — and the rather intense feelings fans have for the "Twilight" books, there was a sense that the film's soundtrack would be something extra special. There would be much care put into selecting songs, since this wasn't the soundtrack to just any ordinary film, it was the soundtrack to readers' imaginations and fantasies. This was clearly a big deal.

Peter FacinelliThree of my favorite things in this entire world are movies, baseball (Go Red Sox!) and the "Twilight" universe. So needless to say, I'm really friggin' excited about the one scene in November's movie that will combine all three.

This week's "Twilight" Tuesday focuses on the very cool Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen. While speaking with him, I got super excited when he revealed an ad lib he put into the baseball scene, revealing Carlisle's history of hanging out with Babe Ruth — and, much like myself, he cited the superpowered sequence as the moment he's most eager to see on the big screen.

"Personally, I'm hoping the vampire baseball scene will be really fun to watch," the actor insisted, saying that all those fastballs and leaping catches should jump off the page and onto the big screen. "I mean, you can only do so much with your imagination, when you're thinking about vampire baseball [and reading 'Twilight']. But actually seeing that and hearing the cracking of the bat? The super-vampire speed? That should be fun to watch." Read more...

Mike Welch"Twilight" fans have always made their exuberance known, whether they're delivering gift baskets to the stars' hotel rooms, flooding our message boards with thousands of questions for their favorite actors, or attempting to send me into outer space. The enthusiasm reached an all new level recently, however, when Twilighters began posting on sites like TwilightLexicon.com that Mr. Mike Welch deserved his own day of "Twilight Tuesday" treatment.

Well, our interview with Mike/Mike just went live here, and he had a lot of fun things to say about the fanbase that loves him. But he also wanted our help in getting the word out to one particularly enthusiastic Twilighter.

"NoMoreMarbles, I'm sure she's watching," Mike laughed, referring to one of our all-time favorite Twilighters, who has made a name for herself uploading videos like this one. "I would like to have an interview with you." Read more...

Justin FurstenfeldIf you've been over to the MTV Movies page, you've read our Twilight Tuesday announcement on Stephenie Meyer's big plans for the "Breaking Dawn" release in August. And if not, what are you waiting for Twilighters?

What I wasn't able to squeeze into the article, however, was some additional thoughts from Blue October singer/songwriter Justin Furstenfeld on his desire to compose some songs about the "Twilight" characters.

"This is just another realm of me," he explained of his love for Stephenie's franchise. "It's going to be awesome."

"We're actually going into the studio with [legendary producer] Steve Lillywhite in August to start tracking, and we should be done with the new album in September," Furstenfeld said of the future of his band. "It's going to be a bit more positive. I have a child now, so I'm focusing on things that are more positive in life."
