"Training Day" is a fun flick. Ethan Hawke's young whipper-snapper of a cop gets a crash course in Dirty Cop 101 from his corrupt new partner Alonzo (Denzel Washington). There's drug use, police brutality, kickbacks, a whole galaxy of underhanded plots and officials high up in the food chain who willingly turn a blind eye to it all.

Cinemash's send-up of "Training Day" flips the clean cop/corrupt cop roles, with Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin'!) playing a hardened dirty cop and Common as his older, peace-abiding partner. These send-ups are getting better and better, though next week might be pretty hard to top: "Carrie," with Will Arnett in the role of the disgruntled, telekinetic high school girl. Sign. Me. Up.

Neighborly issues are as old as the ages, look back at the Ten Commandments and you find a few notes about how to treat thy neighbor. And what makes for even better drama then breaking the basic laws of Judeo-Christian religions? Bad cops, of course! "Lakeview Terrace" is chockfull of all these stimulating ingredients. So before heading out to catch some thrills you hope don’t follow you home from the theater, take a gander at these gripping tales of people who just can’t (or don’t want to) get along...

A TIME TO KILL (1996)

With disbelief in the system, Carl Lee takes matters into his own hands by killing both men in cold blood inside the court house as they are being walked to trial. Read More...
