No movie so far this year has made a more convincing case that it is unequivocally, unabashedly awesome than "G.I. Joe: Retaliation." It may be goofy as all hell, but dammit if it doesn't look fun.
The new international trailer builds off a solid tradition of badassery that follows generally the same pattern as the first theatrical trailer. The Joes are set up by President Zartan, Channing Tatum probably dies, and the survivors seek revenge.
What we didn't get until now is a preview of the Snake Eyes-Storm Shadow fight and President Zartan complimenting Cobra Commander on his new "cool mask." (We officially and strongly agree. Sorry, JGL.) Plus, Jinx has more of an opportunity to shine in all her ninja glory.

Despite how the trailer for "The Cold Light of Day" starts, the movie isn't actually about Bruce Willis and Henry Cavill as a supportive father-son team, who enjoy a nice family vacation, yachting around the world and having a good old time.
Turns out that daddy was in the CIA, and he didn't tell his family, including his son, until it was too late.

When a trailer as hyped as the first one for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" finally drops, its reception can live or die on the impressions of entertainment writers and bloggers. Last night's trailer met its fair share of criticism, but the general response was overwhelmingly positive from fans and writers alike.
Even though some lucky writers first saw the trailer two weeks ago at Butt-Numb-a-Thon, some prominent bloggers took to Twitter to voice their opinions for the trailer's wide release.
We've collected a few below.

When it comes to the "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" trailer, I just wish the makers of the film would have been more honest upfront.
They tell us that they're going to make a follow-up to the "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," the Stephen Sommers-ification of the beloved action figures and TV show. They say Sommers is out and Dwayne Johnson is in. Plus, there will be Bruce Willis. That's all well and good, but nothing worth punching a wall in celebration.
But then the "Retaliation" trailer hits. Not once did anyone mention Cobra flags flying over the White House. Nobody cared to inform us that it looks like Channing Tatum will bite the dust in the first fifteen minutes. And I know for a fact that no one told us there would be a ninja fight on the side of a mountain, because if they had, we all would have been way more excited.

Earlier this week, a brand new poster and several new images debuted from the upcoming Disney fantasy film, "John Carter." The main photo of the bunch showed off the legendary white ape, an icon in the original books by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
In the new trailer, which debuted online on IGN this morning, we see Taylor Kitsch as John Carter take this monstrous beast down in one blow, all set to an orchestral cover of Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir."

A new trailer for the 3D re-release of the box office monster hit, "Titanic," has hit the internet, but unfortunately for you, the trailer isn't going to look much different than one from 1997.
The 2D trailer for the 3D version has all the familiar sights: Leo, Kate, Celine Dion and other horrific tragedies. The re-release will open in theaters on April 6, 2012 in both 2D and 3D.

At the end of the latest trailer for the highly anticipated blockbuster-to-be "Super 8", the announcer mentions that the film has not yet been rated. But, we think the preview needs to come with a different warning: Will Most Certainly Cause Goosebumps And A Dire Need To See This Movie RIGHTTHISINSTANT.
After all, here's a good, old fashioned movie that's not only produced by one of the masters of cinema, Steven Spielberg, but it's written and directed by J.J. Abrams, a man who has made television an event over the past few years, helped make "Star Trek" cool for a new generation, among other amazing achievements.

From the teaser and full-length trailers, we've come to learn that "Super 8" surrounds a group of kids in 1979 who witness a horrendous train accident while they're filming a movie on their super 8 camera. Some very strange things start to happen in their small Ohio town and the mystery of what exactly was on that train and why it's causing these bizarre happenings begins to unfold.
Now, in a recently released TV spot, we've come to find three more things that have us super pumped about the flick, which arrives in theaters on June 10. After the jump check out our picks for the best moments from the newest teaser.

Another week, another "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" trailer washes ashore. While we won't object to seeing more of Johnny Depp and crew hitting the high seas in search of the Fountain of Youth, it's certainly making the wait until the film's May 20 release date that much harder.
From the teaser trailer which premiered during this year's Super Bowl to Disney's video pod, "Pirates" fans have had a chance to see who -- and what -- Captain Jack Sparrow is facing in the fourth installment (mermaids, an ex, and the dreaded Blackbeard, among other things). And over the weekend, a new one-minute "Pirates" TV spot hit the web that we watched over and over again to pick out the key blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments worth paying attention to. Check them out after the jump!

The 2011 Sundance Film Festival kicked off today in Park City, Utah, and you've probably noticed that MTV has already been featuring clips and set visits from many of the fest's most anticipated flicks. Well, we've got another one for you, and it's a doozy: the trailer premiere for Sundance's big closing-night film "Son Of No One," featuring a stellar ensemble cast that includes Channing Tatum, Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, Ray Liotta, Juliette Binoche and -- in his first true dramatic role -- "30 Rock" funnyman Tracy Morgan. Check out the trailer below.
Directed by Sundance vet Dito Montiel ("A Guide to Recognizing Our Saints," "Fighting"), "Son of No One" follows two friends (Tatum and Morgan) forced to face the consequences of a murder they committed -- and got away with -- 16 years earlier. Tatum's character Jonathan "Milk" White has gone on to a successful career with the police force and has a happy home life with his wife (Holmes) and Child. Morgan's character Vinnie has kind of gone the other way. When Milk is assigned to the precinct where he grew up, his decade-and-a-half-old secret threatens to tear apart his life and his family. Falling in love isn't the easiest thing in the world, especially when that world is coming apart at the seams. But that's exactly the situation that faces Ewan McGregor and Eva Green in director David Mackenzie's ("Spread") new romantic thriller "Perfect Sense," premiering at the Sundance Film Festival later this week. Check out the exclusive trailer premiere below.
Green plays Susan, an epidemiologist recently out of a relationship gone sour; McGregor is Michael, the charismatic chef who sweeps Susan off her feet and shows her that not all guys are a-holes. Sounds swell, right? And it would be... except for one tiny problem: At the same time Susan and Michael are falling for each other, a global pandemic is threatening to change the face of humanity forever. Read more...
