I learned early on that one of the best places to uncover movie scoops was at the toy industry's annual trade show, since the companies often unveil characters and playsets ripped directly from their parent films. This year was my fifth excursion to the New York City-based event, and I went in hard, armed with a video crew, my reporter's notebook and a backpack to carry all the free swag.

We've seen official product shots of LEGO's "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" line, but it wasn't until Toy Fair that we were able to get a good look at one of the fabled crystal skulls from the upcoming blockbuster. The figure -- seemingly an alien skeleton with a crystal skull -- apparently relates to the climax of the film - specifically the lost Temple of Akator, which the LEGO description tells us falls into the hands of Cate Blanchett's Irina Spalko. Batman has the Tumbler when he's donning his cape, but what does he drive when he's out of uniform? Thanks to Mattel, now we know. We got a first look at Bruce Wayne's super Lamborghini filled to the brim with weapons and other crazy features when we dropped by for Toy Fair 2008.
