In this exclusive Blu-ray featurette from the upcoming release of "The Double," Topher Grace explains how he's on the side of the audience, in more ways then one.
Grace's character is charged with the difficult task of bringing down a Soviet assassin, who unbeknownst to him is actual his mentor, Paul, played by Richard Gere.
"My character Ben Geary's a lot like the audience. He's new to Paul's situation," Grace says in an interview for the Blu-ray. "He's kind of with the audience in terms of figuring out what's going on. We both are trying to make it something different and more real and unique."

Love is patient, love is kind, and sometimes, love is just straight-up weird.
But no matter how inexplicable the sensation might be, there's simply no denying the urges of the heart when one falls for another. Take MTV After Hours host Josh Horowitz and "Take Me Home Tonight" star Topher Grace, for example. They met for the first time a year ago during the press junket for "Valentine's Day," and both men walked away from that encounter with permanently changed hearts and minds.
But the other thing about love is, it ain't easy. The road to romantic fulfillment is filled with obstacles, hardships and MTV's very own Sway Calloway. Watch the tumultuous and heartfelt journey of Josh and Topher's relationship in our latest episode of MTV After Hours.

It feels like Topher Grace is constantly getting himself into awkward situations with women. Countless episodes of "That '70s Show" speak to that belief, and don't even get us started on that creepy, serial killer-y twist at the end of "Predators." Talk about awkward!
But it's entirely possible that Grace has hit rock bottom when it comes to embarrassing himself in front of a prospective love interest: in this exclusive clip from "Take Me Home Tonight," Grace's character, Matt Franklin, prepares to strap himself inside of a metal ball and ride it all the way down to his potential demise — all in the name of proving to the crush of his dreams that he's not afraid to take a chance.

An '80s-set comedy starring Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, Teresa Palmer, Chris Pratt and Michelle Trachtenberg sounds like a cinematic slam dunk. Sure, it's not going to put up "Avatar" numbers at the box office, but there's definitely an audience willing to dole out good money to see that young, hip cast party like it's 1988. And yet "Take Me Home Tonight" (formerly titled "Kids in America") has languished on a shelf since completing principal photography in early 2007.
Well, Grace and co. can finally breathe a sigh of relief, because the film will finally see the light of day (or, rather, the dark of theater) on March 4, 2011. MTV News recently caught up with Grace, who's also a producer on "Take Me Home Tonight," and asked him to talk about the film's long odyssey to the big screen.
"[The film came from] this idea that every generation had a film that looked about 20 years back," Grace said, adding that most '80s flicks blatantly make fun of the decade. "We wanted to do something that felt like it was literally made in the '80s. So, we brought this to a different studio, and they were very supportive when they made the film, so we're very grateful for that." Read more...

"I ain't got no time to bleed!"
Jesse Ventura spoke those unforgettable words in the 1987 sci-fi/action flick, "Predator," starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, more than 20 years later, we're going to get to hear that line again, uttered by someone else in a different, yet similar, context.
"Predators" hits theaters on July 5. This time around, a group of battle-hardened people from different walks of life are kidnapped, only to wake up on a distant alien world, prey trapped inside a massive hunting ground for the titular alien aggressors. Star Topher Grace confirmed to MTV's Josh Horowitz at South By Southwest last weekend that the memorable phrase does indeed make an appearance. Read more...

If Danny Trejo landing a role in "Predators" was the greatest movie news of last week, then here comes the weirdest movie news you're likely to hear this entire month -- words I'm sure to be eating within a few days -- and once again, it's all about "Predators."
Trejo is indeed on board for "Predators," and the rest of the cast is filling out to include the likes of Walt Goggins, who played the loathsome Shane Vendrell on "The Shield," as well as Alice Braga of "I Am Legend." But the real story comes in the form of the film's purported leading actors: none other than scrawny men Adrien Brody and Topher Grace. Read more...

It’s a film modeled after such instant classics as "American Graffiti" and "Dazed and Confused." It features big names like Topher Grace, Anna Faris and Michelle Trachtenberg. So, why haven’t we seen "Kids in America" yet?
If you’re looking for the answer, you might want to start inside Dan Fogler’s nose.
"That is called 'Young Americans' now," the "Balls of Fury" funnyman told me recently when I asked what had happened to the hilarious-looking film whose set I visited in early 2007. "I think that is going to open this year…there’s a lot of talk about it now, but nothing is solidified." Read more...

“Terminator Salvation” star Bryce Dallas Howard felt right at home talking about the movie amid the mania of Comic-Con this week. “I walked the floor today! Oh, it was so much fun,” enthused the actress, who toured several booths at her second Con before duty pulled her away for interviews. “I was actually really disappointed when I was here for ‘Spider-Man [3]’ that we didn’t have time in the schedule to walk the floor. I think Topher [Grace] came several hours earlier with his friends so he could do it. What’s so great about Comic-Con is it’s the fans — it’s people who have spent a significant amount of time invested in admiring the stories, admiring the heroism, the sci-fi aspects of these stories.
“These are the people I’m doing it for,” she said, looking over at the costumed crowd. “Because I’m one of them.”
