At least one voice in the Twitter-Wood feed was happy to Mike Dunleavy depart from his role as head coach of the Los Clippers this week. Most of TW's citizens veer toward the Lakers in the basketball tweets, so it's always great to get some variety when someone like Danny Masterson speaks up to acknowledge L.A.'s other NBA team.
It was a big day for criticism off the court, too. Michael McKean didn't seem too impressed with "Spartacus: Blood & Sand" on Starz, Tinsel Korey chimed in to weigh in against her "Twilight" co-star Alex Meraz's comments from yesterday about Taylor Lautner's film "Valentine's Day" and Steve Agee shouted back after Rainn Wilson launch a snark bomb at him about "The Sarah Silverman Program." All of those tweets and some Jackie Chan fan artwork await you after the jump in Twitter-Wood for February 5, 2010. Read more...
Team Jacob takes on an entirely different meaning if you happen to be a "Lost" follower. One "Twilight" actress has been evaluating whether or not she wants to cross over, though. She wasn't wasn't alone, as Twitter-Wood made their allegiances and alternative lack of interests known last night.
In other tweets, Snooki from "Jersey Shore" popped up again today after posting a slew of TweetPhotos from an MTV event last night. She's evidently made a new friend in Brody Stevens of "The Hangover." Those posts, in addition to director Kyle Newman's thoughts on re-told superhero origins in movies, Rip Torn and Nathan Fillion's dream from last night will all appear for you after the jump in Twitter-Wood for February 3, 2010. Twitter gained another surprise guest this week with William H. Macy testing the tweet waters. He and Emmy Rossum have been detailing their work on a Showtime series called "Shameless," which I hadn't heard about previously but will definitely be keeping tabs on now that I know both of them are involved.
And speaking of involvement, "Twilight" actress Tinsel Korey will be helping out MTV's "Hope for Haiti" telethon tonight, and she sounds pumped. Check out those retweets and more after the jump, including a bitter farewell to a cactus by Frankie Muniz, John Stamos' shout-out to Artie Lange and Dane Cook on UPS. It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 22, 2010. Read more...
Sunday's night's Golden Globe winners woke up on Monday and immediately began sharing their exploits from evening. Jason Reitman, had plenty to celebrate, considering he won a "Best Screenplay" trophy and "Up in the Air" got nominated in five other categories. He tweeted a shot with Mike Tyson from the ceremony, as did Eli Roth and Lake Bell side by side with their own entourage members.
In other tweets, Jodelle Ferland's Stephenie Meyer reading hasn't stopped with the "Twilight" series. She just finished "The Host" and wants to find more. Her "Eclipse" co-star Tinsel Korey, meanwhile, name-checked the "Boondocks" animated series as one her favorite ways to spend her free time. Check out those posts along with Jon Hurwitz's hopes for Conan O'Brien and what Ice-T and his wife look like when they play "Army of Two." It's all in Twitter-Wood for January 19, 2010. Read more...
The death of Johnson & Johnson heiress and fiancée to Tila Tequila Casey Johnson had a lot of Twitter-Wood's attention this morning a few of Johnson's close friends tweet their thoughts on her passing, including Paris and Nicky Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
Elsewhere, it was business as usual. Jon Favreau entertained his leading man Robert Downey Jr. at the "Iron Man 2" office, and Lee Unkrich posted that animation is almost done on "Toy Story 3." Check out their tweets after the jump, along with a photo from Simon Pegg, what Diablo Cody's doing hanging around with Quentin Tarantino and which "New Moon" actress has been writing songs. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for January 5, 2009. Read more...
This was a rough week for memorial tweets, with Tisha Taylor Murphy and Roy Disney's passings both making headlines. More condolences showed up today for "Alien" screenwriter Dan O'Bannon and Bengals wide received Chris Henry, who both had their share of fans in our feed.
Following up on Jason Reitman's Olympic Torch tweets from the week, posted a much better photo today and got some moral support from Roger Ebert. You can check that out below, along with a shot of "New Moon" actor Alex Meraz's new t-shirt, two actresses who are not ashamed of their Wiis. It's all retweeted in the Twitter-Wood report for December 18, 2009. Read more...

It's always great to see "Twilight" cast members getting along off-screen, and there were a couple of shout-outs bouncing around the Twitter-Wood feed today. Edi Gathegi wished Christian Serratos could be with him on a plane ride, but he had to settle for her advice on candy shenanigans. Elsewhere, Tinsel Korey sought Chaske Spencer's glitter skills in some Advent calendar construction.
In non-"Twilight" tweets "I'm on a Boat" seems to be a popular pick among the Grammy nominations this year, and Seth Meyers was among the first to back it. Michael McKean, meanwhile, will be pulling for Bela Fleck and Loudon Wainwright. Check out those posts after the jump, along with Richard Kelly's new prospective "Donnie Darko 3" premise and Danny DeVito's Thanksgiving Troll Foot costume. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for December 3, 2009. Read more...
One of the reasons the ladies love "Twilight" -- and "New Moon" in particular -- so much is the abundance of well-manicured male pecs on display. And while much has been made of Taylor Lautner's -- ie Jacob Black, werewolf -- abundant shirtlessness, his pack brothers, the so-called Wolf Pack, spend a lot of their screen time in states of half-undress.
Of course, with any film as large as "New Moon," you're going to have a backup plan. What if someone gets sick? Has a death in the family? Is torn to shreds by a werewolf that's broken out of its cage? You've got to be prepared for these things. Tinsley Korey, who plays wolf-boy Sam Uley's fiancee Emily, shows us just how UNprepared director Chris Weitz was for a Wolf Pack breakdown in today's Daily TwitPic. I warn you: the image that lies after the jump is... disturbing. Read more...
If you noticed an abnormal amount of red in your Twitter feed today, it's because much of the Twitterverse and Twitter-Wood population was observing World AIDS Day. Russell Brand, Paris Hilton, Virginia Madsen and Ashton Kutcher were among those tweeting for awareness -- though Brand predictably did so with lighter sensibilities.
In other tweetage, Rainn Wilson has officially attempted to sooth any offense John Cusack might have taken from a comment he made about "2012." Check out the exchange after the jump along with the "New Moon" wolf pack as you've never seen them before, an epic Stanley Kubrick book and Diablo Cody's kitty litter smell problems. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for December 1, 2009. Read more...
Robert Pattinson cleaned up at the box office this weekend, along with the rest of the "New Moon" cast. One of his co-stars, however, would love to get together with him off-screen in the recording studio. The mega-release prompted reactions from Rainn Wilson and Brent Spiner as well today. "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli, meanwhile, tried to create a new vampire with a few photo tricks and a shot of Kat Dennings.
Check out all of that after the jump, along with Ice-T's photo op with the Naked Cowboy, philosophizing from Jim Carrey and Paris Hilton's new exotic pet. They're all on the little retweet mix tape I put together for you in the Twitter-Wood report for November 23, 2009. Read more...
