In all my years, I never thought I'd be caught in the middle of the up and down relationship between Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. But here we are. A couple weeks back I had a lengthy chat with Corey Haim here in NYC while my colleague Shawn Adler spoke with Feldman on the West Coast about his advice for young stars. Clearly the two still have some issues as evidenced by Haim's comments about his frequent co-star. We reported at length about "The Lost Boys" sequel and Haim's need to drop out of it.
Now Corey Feldman has reached out to MTV News to release a statement. In it, he defends his decision to continue in the film series without Haim. Read it after the jump: Read More...
It might be true that Goonies never say die, but a long-rumored follow-up to 80s classic reeks of life support, laughed Corey Feldman, and may in fact have permanently flatlined. At least as a live-action film, teased "The Two Coreys" star.
Corey Haim came by our offices last week for an extended conversation we'll be rolling out in the very near future (trust me, stay tuned for some great stuff). Among many other things, he talked excitedly about his participation in the long-awaited "Lost Boys" sequel, saying he was about to start filming in Vancouver and that he was "honored" to be a part of it. Corey Feldman meanwhile left for Vancouver last week to film his role.
