You know those review quotes they put on posters, right? "Best comedy ever!" "Four stars!" "If you see only one movie this year …" etc. Well, I promise you that no matter how good Ben Foster's next movie, "The Laws of Motion," winds up being, no matter if it's compared to "Casablanca" and "Citizen Kane," there won't be a better quote to put on the film's poster and television ads than the one recently offered up by Foster himself:
"[It's] a great romantic, heartbreaking dramedy," he said. "No death. No killing. A multiple personality, a little pedophilia. ... Funny. It's really funny!"
I really can't tell you how much of a kick I'm getting out of that, even if it's possible Foster was putting us on a little bit. Read more...
