FlashFaster than the man himself, "The Flash" movie has once again changed directors – and you'll never guess whose quick hands have grabbed the franchise.

"Wedding Crashers" and "Fred Claus" director David Dobkin revealed to MTV News that he's signed with Warner Bros. to bring the fleet-footed super to the big screen in a solo project, taking over for Shawn Levy who left for undisclosed reasons.

Dobkin's film won't be the character's first appearance in cinemas, of course, with the Flash a major part of the upcoming "Justice League of America" film. Yesterday we wrote all about how Ryan Reynolds still seemed into portraying The Flash whether in a film of his own or in a Justice League adventure. Now we offer video of some of our reporter's encounter with Reynolds. As you can see, Reynolds is a bit evasive, but check out that smile and raised set of eyebrows at the end. He's not telling us something!

Ryan Reynolds says "The Flash" may yet live. It just might not be in the superhero's own film first. Just hours ago, our own Shawn Adler peppered the oft-rumored star of "The Flash" about his association with the DC comics speedster and here's what Reynolds said: "'The Flash' isn't dead at all. There's talk of it being a JLA movie, the Justice League having them all together. And then there's other talk of doing a 'Flash' movie with [director] Shawn Levy."

Rumors of a Justice League movie have gained momentum in recent weeks. Now we're hearing it straight from one of the potential stars' mouths. When asked if he thought the JLA film might happen first, Reynolds told us, "[it] might, yeah. I don't really know how much I'm allowed to talk about that stuff. But I'm sure they'll figure out something. It's no secret that they have a JLA script and it's a project that's in development – the contents of which, who knows. We'll see."

For an actor who's no longer "officially" attached to play a role, Reynolds sounded very excited about the prospect of a Justice League film, "I'd love to see a full on Justice League movie done, the scope of which is just enormous. I think it's something they can pull off."
