If you were going to travel around the world and seek some adventure, you sure could do a lot worse in the companion category than Jason Segel, Jonah Hill and Jason Schwartzman. Just think of all the smart-alecky comments as they march alongside you, all the hijinks they’d get into visiting world’s most famous tourist traps, and all the different jails you’d probably land in. The Fantastic Mr. FoxWes Anderson's modeled characters, who will be voiced by Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Jarvis Cocker showed up online for the world to see today. The pictures premiered in conjunction with the announcement that the first showing of Anderson's stop-motion Roald Dahl movie "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" will belong to the London Film Festival. His first foray into feature-length animation unsurprisingly brings back many of his standard actors, but the look of the film is entirely new territory for the man known for his work on "The Royal Tennenbaums" and "Rushmore."

"['Fantastic Mr. Fox'] was the first book I ever owned," Anderson told USA Today, where new pictures from the set appeared. "My brothers and I loved Mr. Fox and all the digging. We were obsessed with underground forts and tunnels." Read more...

Then there was yesterday's absence, when The Dailies fell victim of a top secret screening. But I'm back now, baby. And there's lots of news in the movies world, so let's get right down to it.

-- This is rumor territory, so take it for what it's worth. Robert Rodriguez's "Grindhouse" spin-off, "Machete," got a pretty exciting casting update. Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Jonah Hill and Robert freaking De Niro may or may not be joining the cast. The shoot is supposed to get underway in a couple weeks, so we'll all know soon enough.
