Aubery O'Day. Sundance. Rocking out on "Rock Band 2" to The Pretenders. Some blogs don't need words. You're welcome.

I'm not one to stir up controversy. All I wanted was to find out what Woody Harrelson (in Sundance to promote his role in the sobering meditation on grief, "The Messenger") thought of the shoe crafted in honor of his performance in "White Men Can't Jump." I guess it didn't surprise me when Woody hadn't caught wind of the enterprise. He doesn't strike me as a man with a google news alert set to his own name. Without further ado, please enjoy his and "Messenger" co-star Ben Foster's reaction to the sneaker inspired by his seminal work. Oh and if you'd got "White Men Can't Jump" on the brain don't miss our Sundance interview with Wesley Snipes!

It's not every day that you get to watch a film about betrayal, carnal desire and the supposed intrinsic nature of men to think below the waist -- all at 8:30 in the morning. But on Tuesday, as the rest of the world tuned in to see a new president take the oath, myself and a half-asleep Sundance crowd shuffled into the Racquet Club theater to see John Krasinski's "Brief Interviews with Hideous Men."

By the end of the film, I considered my admission price of sleep and historical perspective well worth it. Read more...

My admiration for the comic timing of the great Tea Leoni dates back to "Flirting with Disaster" so it pleases me to learn her new film debuting tonight at Sundance is a comedy and calls for her to talk fast and funny alongside the likes of Billy Bob Thorton. That it comes from the great Polish brothers and is called "Manure" is just icing on the cake.

When I chatted with Tea this morning I brought up her reported split with husband David Duchovny as gently as possible and she admitted the year has been hard. But she's also talking like a woman whose marriage isn't quite over (or am I reading too much into it)? Does this in fact add fuel to the speculation last week after Duchovny's Globes speech perhaps?

Check out all of our celebrity interviews from Sundance, including Kristen Stewart, Jim Carrey, Mike Tyson and many more.

The wave of emotion that emanated today from Washington D.C. even reached Park City, Utah. Yes, even with movies to sell all the actors and filmmakers MTV News spoke to today had one thing on the brain: President Obama. Well, actually Chris Rock was thinking more about former President George W. Bush. "George Bush is NOT president," he grinned and repeated and grinned again. A small part of that smile might also be attributed to his new documentary, "Good Hair" that just debuted here to positive attention.

Spike LeeBig plot changes and casting continuity are in store for Spike Lee’s sequel to his 2006 bank heist blockbuster, “Inside Man,” the director exclusively told MTV News at Sundance.

Early reports had the movie, tentatively titled “Inside Man 2,” focusing on Clive Owen and his crew of ingenious thieves getting embroiled in a New York diamond district heist. “Naw, naw, not anymore,” Lee now says of that potential storyline, declining to reveal any fresh details. “Can’t tell you, or I’ll have to do one of these,” he says, making a stabbing motion. He did admit that, like the first picture, the sequel will be shot on location in New York City. Read more...

SundanceFor the vast majority of us out there who would love to go to this year's Sundance Film Festival but because of dumb things like "work" or "expensive plane tickets" can't, the benevolent technological overlords at Apple have got our hook-up!

In a partnership with Apple's iTunes Music Store, Sundance and Shorts International have announced today that they will make available 10 short films selected to screen during the film festival as free (yup, free) downloads via their online media store (available in the US, UK and Canada only). The offer will only be available starting today through January 25, so film geeks should act now.

After the jump, check out the official announcement and a rundown of the films that are currently available for download on the iTunes Music Store. Read more...

Sundance CrewGreetings from Utah! No, the MTV Movies team isn't on a "Big Love" reality tour (though we're psyched the show is back this week). The Sundance Film Festival is about to begin!

For about a week every year, the sleepy town that is Park City is transformed into the best place for celebrity rubber-necking this side of the Globes red carpet. Oh, and they show a few films too. And so your friendly MTV Movies reporters (that's us up in the corner) have donned our snow gear (though it's currently actually colder in NYC. Who knew?!?) to bring you the very best of the fest.

We're talking to everyone from Kristen Stewart to Guillermo del Toro. From Nick Cannon to Ralph Macchio (I know!). Such is the breadth of Sundance. So keep it right here on the Movies Blog and Splash Page for breaking news, interviews and reviews, straight from our sleepless, dedicated team on the ground. It'll be fun. Really. Read more...

As we mentioned a few days ago, as part of our supersized coverage of Sundance, we provided a few celebrities with small video cameras to record their Park City experience. Nick Cannon's diary already went up; today we bring you David Arquette, the Hollywood funnyman who was at the festival promoting his new highly-buzzed flick, "Hamlet 2." In the diary below, Arquette hangs with co-star Steve Coogan, spies on old "Friend" Matthew Perry, sings along with Lukas Haas, attends his film's red-carpet premiere and more.

When you're done watching, click here for some bonus footage Arquette shot of Haas' acoustic performance.

Along with our usual Sundance coverage of news, reviews and such, we also equipped several celebrities with small video cameras so they could capture the film festival experience firsthand. The first of these is now online, featuring rapper/actor/superstar Nick Cannon. So tag along with him as he hits up a swag suite, orders Park City's best hot chocolate and attends the premiere of his film "American Son."
