Simon Pegg came a little late to the "Unseen Prequels" meme that's been bouncing around Twitter this week, but I stuck his "Star Wars" proposal along with Jon Favreau's submission up at the top of the list today just the same.

Also discovering a trend late today appears to be "Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli, who's been exploring new Bluetooth headset technology. He and his "Eclipse" director David Slade show up in the Twitter-Wood report today, as does Facinelli's co-star Alex Meraz. Check out their posts after the jump, along with some more Pixar costumes from Lee Unkrich, and an M.I.A. performance caught by Nicky Hilton during the Jimmy Choo shoe debut for H&M. It all happened in Twitter-Wood, and it's in the report for November 3, 2009. Read more...

Tracy Morgan may have had the most re-tweeted post of the day in my personal Twitter follow feed. I've re-tweeted it myself so that you can find out what he'll do for $15.

In other Twitter news, David Slade elaborated on a photo he posted yesterday, clarifying that the headlight shown does belong to Bella Swan's truck in "Eclipse." And speaking of "Twilight" movies, Jamie Campbell Bower took top honors for Twitter Pic of the Day today. I'm not entirely sure what his sign means or what promises he's fulfilling for his fans, but you can check it out and make that judgment for yourselves. Check all of those quotes and pics out below, along with Lindsay Lohan's paparazzi triumph, the puppet that hit on Ice-T's wife and much more. It's all after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 21, 2009. Read more...

Lucky you, Movies Blog readers! Not only do you get a second helping of Twitter-Wood reportage today; I also come bearing the answer your last-minute Halloween costume plans if you've been pondering how to pull the perfect outfit together from Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds." Eli Roth tweeted a helpful diagram for anyone looking to replicate his Sgt. Donny Donowitz look, which helped earn his character his racy nickname "The Bear Jew."

In other sanitized-for-the-sake-of-this-column tweeting, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost collaborated on a slash fiction parody of their movie "Hot Fuzz," today, which apparently gained a lot of followers for Wright. Check out the barely family friendly ones after the jump, along with the "Eclipse" reveal planned for the "Twilight" Twitter account, Aziz Ansari's amusement park adventures and Jason Reitman's breakfast with the Chemical Brothers. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for October 19, 2009. Read more...

As the search for Falcon Heene, the six-year-old boy feared to have been trapped in a runaway Colorado balloon, continues today, the story has more or less less consumed the Twittersphere. Twitter-Wood hasn't been immune to that effect with Alyssa Milano, Simon Pegg and plenty of others posting about the unresolved scenario.

On the flipside of the Twitterverse, cast members of "New Moon" have been swapping tweets in anticipation of the movie's scene screenings at next week's Rome Film Festival. Check out who's been talking to whom, along with Rainn Wilson's new wolf T-shirt, Tom Felton's metal T-shirt and what's been going on in Diablo Cody's dreams. It's all after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 15, 2009. Read more...

Celebrities retweeting webcam pics of fans dressed as them may officially be a trend now, following yesterday's Fred Durst incident. Now Rainn Wilson has received a pic from a Dwight super-fan, and his shock defies language.

Tweets trickles in from all over Twitter-Wood throughout the rest of the day to remember wrestler and actor Captain Lou Albano, whom you may remember from pay-per-view events, as well as from "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" where he portrayed Mario. Read those rubber band memorials after jump along with Simon Pegg's reaction to the "Twilight" books, Shaquille O'Neal's mama joke to Ashton Kutcher and BooBoo Stewart's plans for Halloween. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for October 14, 2009. Read more...

One of the movies that I expect will perform well this weekend -- off of some solid buzz and a great cast, primarily -- is "Zombieland." They may not have penetrated the zeitgeist to the same degree as vampires and werewolves (thanks "Twilight"!), but the shambling, brain-eating dead are most definitely "in."

There aren't any "Zombieland" props up on eBay yet, but I've found something similarly relevant and just as cool for today's eBay Prop-Watch. It's an item from the inventive Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg zombie horror-comedy, "Shaun of the Dead." Hit the jump to see for yourself. Read more...

One of the movies we’re watching closely in these parts is “Paul,” the next off-the-wall comedy from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Two of the guys behind “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz.” By now, you probably know that "Paul" has a dream cast which includes Pegg, Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Bateman and Bill Hader. However, little has been divulged about the role played by comedy veteran Jane Lynch – a scene stealer in flicks like “Role Models,” “The 40 Year Old Virgin” and most any Christopher Guest mockumentary you can think of. Until now, that is.

“In ‘Paul,’ I am in one scene, but it’s a pretty cool one,” Lynch explained when we caught up with her recently. “I run this little restaurant called the ‘Ailey-Inn.’” Read more...

Simon Pegg happily tweeted about the publicity he hopes to see "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" get in the U.S. now that an on-set burglary has resulted in a trial. If his co-star Megan Fox wasn't enough to get the film some attention, he predicts that his testimony will be.

One film that's been getting loads of Twitter attention this week has been "Zombieland," which everyone seems to have been invited to see. Shannon Elizabeth can be counted among those invitees and gets today's Twitter Pic of Day vote with the cutest zombie kiss you'll see this week. Check it out below along with Rumer Willis' backstage shot of a Govt. Mule concert, what Taylor Lautner has in common with a roller coaster and what Richard Kelly wants to see in Diablo Cody's "Sweet Valley High" movie. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for September 24, 2009. Read more...

It was an epic day of awkward headshots in the Twitter-Wood feed today, so go click on the photo links knowing full well that you are about to see some rare sights. Pee Wee Herman, Paul Reubens' recently revived alter-ego earned top honors for a shot posted by Andy Milonakis, but Alyson Hannigan, Danny DeVito and Ice-T all jumped in the running too.

None of them, however, openly invited New Yorkers to walk up to them on the street and receive a kiss, though, which is cannot be said of Simon Pegg. You can find a link to that warm proposition along with Rachelle Lefevre's thoughts on "The Biggest Loser" and Rose McGowan's take on getting beat up. There's all in the mix for the September 23 Twitter-Wood report. Read more...

The Emmy Awards prevailed over football yesterday in the Twitter-Wood feed. I'm just sorry that John Hodgman's posted pic with comic book writer and "Lost" writer staff alumnus Brian K. Vaughan was too dark to make Twitter Pic of the Day. Instead, Kim Kardashian moved up into first place for that honor with her behind-the-scenes look at what happens when you rip your dress at the Emmy's.

On down the list, Rainn Wilson, Diablo Cody and Steve Agee pondered how hitch a ride on Tyler Perry's successful Madea movies. To find out what Wilson wants to do and see when Peter Facinelli will be reporting back for duty on the "Eclipse" set, read their tweets for yourself. They're all below in the Twitter-Wood report for September 21, 2009. Read more...
