Sienna MillerApparently ringing in 2011 got Sienna Miller in the holiday spirit because Variety is reporting that she is the latest actress to sign on for Garry Marshall's "New Year's Eve."

Warner Bros. would not confirm Miller's casting, but did say that Jessica Biel, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Til Schweiger, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and Zac Efron are locked and loaded for the star-studded flick. "Glee" starlet Lea Michele, "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara and Marshall staple Hector Elizondo are also rumored to be on board for roles.

The film follows a group of New Yorkers who navigate their way through intersecting romantic situations on New Year's Eve. Though the movie is a thematic follow-up to Marshall's previous ensemble flick "Valentine's Day," returning actors Kutcher and Biel will not be reprising their previous roles. The specifics of Miller's character have yet to be revealed. Read More...

Zoe BellAll of us here at MTV are excited for Ridley Scott's "Alien" prequel. The director hasn't had anything to do with the series since the 1979 original, which is a bonafide classic. To honor Scott and his lasting contribution to badass women in film, we've paired up the lovely duo of MTV contributor Jenni Miller and producer Sohyung Kang to produce a magical list of five leading ladies who could rock Ripley.

Although there aren't any hard and fast deets out there concerning Ridley Scott's prequel to "Alien," I've got my fingers crossed for a female badass to rival Sigourney Weaver's iconic Ripley. Since Weaver has stated publicly she doesn't think Ripley could be part of an "Alien" prequel, I have a few suggestions as to who could fulfill the role of cinema's favorite alien-killing, kitty-saving, space-feminist. I don't know about y'all, but I love myself some toys. I have a bunch here, sitting on my desk. Including one of Cobra Commander from this week's "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra." I'll be honest: I initially put him here because I was worried about the movie, and his menacing glare and upraised weapon was to serve as a constant reminder that I should be. But I saw the movie last weekend loved it. Now, the Commander has earned his rightful place among the rest of the kiddie crap scattered across my workspace.

Still, it must be weird for "Joe" stars Sienna Miller and Channing Tatum to hold molded plastic versions of themselves in their hands. It is weird, as we learn in the below clip. The stars, who play the Baroness and Duke, respectively, appeared on "Good Morning America" this week with plastic counterparts of themselves and their castmates. Enjoy.

"G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" is out on Friday. Lots of action. One of the highlights -- not the best mind you, but up there -- is when the Baroness (Sienna Miller) and Scarlett (Rachel Nichols) throw down for a bare-knuckle brawl. Well, it's not all bare-knuckle. I recall some flying feet. And chains. No hair-pulling though. This ain't no cat fight; these sisters are serious.

In the below video, Miller and Nichols talk about their little brawl. It's a shame such lovely ladies had to mess each other up, but it's worth it for the high-energy action. And head over to MTV.com to check out the rest of our "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" Rough Cut!

"G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" is out next weekend! As an avid viewer of the classic cartoon series and hoarder of action figures/vehicles, I'm kinda sorta a little bit excited for this one. I'm actually seeing the movie this weekend to prepare for Sunday's press day with the cast. You can look for that coverage to appear on MTV.com next week in anticipation of the movie's release.

To get the hype train rolling a little early, we've got some video for you from the "Rise of Cobra" premiere yesterday in Tokyo. Check out that awesome signage; movie titles always look so much cooler in a different language. You'll also see stars Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Marlon Wayans stepping up to the red carpet mic to say howdy.

BaronessYou’ve seen the photos, heard the rumors, and even had your eardrums blown out by one star’s unparalleled sense of excitement. But the question remains: Is next summer’s “G.I. Joe” movie going to be as awesome as Michael Bay’s “Transformers,” or as laughable as Dolph Lundgren’s “Masters of the Universe”?

“We are in post-production, and it’s looking really good,” promised super-producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently, marveling over some of the early “G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra” scenes he’s been working on recently with director Stephen Sommers. “It’s going to be really fun, and it’s going to be big.”

The cast alone would seem to back up di Bonaventura’s boasts, with such names as Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Quaid, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller and others. When MTV visited the set awhile back, it was as if the soldier-stuffed toyboxes we all had as children had grown 20 times their size and been handed over to Sommers. All that remains now is to see if his plotlines are as exciting as the ones we dreamed up in our backyards all those years ago. Read More...
