"She's Out of My League" arrived on DVD/Blu-ray yesterday. Jay Baruchel stars as an everyday schmo who meets the perfect girl, only to start screwing things up when his family, friends and his own lack of confidence get in the way. Lindsay Sloane, seen in the outtake reel below, doesn't play that woman; instead, she plays the ex-girlfriend of Baruchel's Kirk. And as you can see in the clip, which comes on the home video release, she had some trouble finding the right words to say.

We've all been there before. Sitting in a bar with friends, looking over potential singles. This one's a 4. That's one's an easy 8. The one who just walked in is a 6, drunk 7. You rate them. It's not particularly kind, or respectful, but it's one of those "among friends" activities that is made okay because of the context.

It's also the basis for the Jay Baruchel-starring comedy "She's Out of My League." Baruchel stars as Kirk Kettner, a lovable sort of loser who manages to score a date with the lovely Molly (Alice Eve), a straight 10, thanks to a fortunate twist of fate. To promote the movie, Paramount has also launched GetYourRating.com, a photo rating site a la Hot or Not to which you can upload your own pictures and get a rating... just like in the trailer!
