Did you hear the one about the internationally known comic who watches "The Hills"? There's no punch line to that, by the way. "That's the joke," Seth Rogen laughed, "the fact that I watch the f--king 'Hills.' "

It's actually not just one joke, but a bunch of jokes. And if you're lucky enough to be at the right L.A.-area comedy club this summer, you might hear 'em all, Rogen said. In preparation for the new Judd Apatow movie about the world of stand-up comedy, he'll be trying out a bunch of new material. His best stuff? Well, Spencer, Heidi and a rabbi walk into a bar ...

"I haven't done [stand-up] in almost eight or nine years," he confessed. "I've been writing some jokes. They're varying degrees of hilarious, [and the best stuff] is some 'Hills' jokes. I'm just writing on premises — I haven't really flushed it out yet.

"I watched the sh-t out of 'The Hills.' I don't know what else to say," he continued. "I watch the living crap out of it." Read more...

It was one of the show's funniest moments, but sadly the MTV cameras pulled wide when "Pineapple Express" stars James Franco and Seth Rogen pulled out a giant bag of "weed" and then proceeded to smoke it. The censors apparently got skittish, but that won't stop us. Below, check out the unaired, uncensored close-up of the pair's half-baked hijinx, and then click here for more things you didn't see.

Our guest blogger Laura Culpepper will be covering the highlights from now through the big show on Sunday, so check in daily as she live-blogs her Movie Awards experience!

Hey everyone! Yesterday was crazy, but I've rested up now and I'm getting ready for the big awards tomorrow. There were two screenings yesterday: "Kung Fu Panda" starring Jack Black and "Pineapple Express" starring Seth Rogen and James Franco.

First stop was to Paramount for the "Kung Fu Panda" screening. I'm usually not a big fan of animation, but this one was surprisingly good! There were some pretty awesome action scenes, and Jack Black did a great job of giving Po, the main character, a voice. The Q&A after was great, and we even got to see Jack show off some Kung Fu moves of his own.

MTV News' Kim Stolz also interviewed Jack, dressed in a Panda costume, no less. Read more...

We all remember the classic scene from "Knocked Up" where Katherine Heigl's celebrity reporter informs her boyfriend/baby daddy Seth Rogen that she's about to go interview the hunky star of "Lost" Matthew Fox, and his deadpan response.

"You know what's interesting about him?" Rogen's character asks. "Nothing!"

It's one of many funny moments in the high-grossing flick, and everybody remembers it as some good-natured ribbing, right? Well, maybe not everyone. Read more...

Seth RogenThat Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen, two funnymen known for their raunchy yet touching blend of humor, have teamed up for "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" is so obviously a good match as to be of little surprise to even their most peripheral fans.

And if two guys who traffic in similar comedic tones joining up isn't a shock, then the fact that they both adapted a screenplay from the same source material shouldn't be either. Except, of course, that the source material in question is a superhero movie. Read more...

Break out Black Beauty and get ready your masks!

Three months after promising MTV that his “Green Hornet” would be an "awesome action movie," Seth Rogen is back with news on the 71-year-old superhero, confirming to our very own Josh Horowitz that he will indeed suit up in the famous green fedora.

That is, just as soon as he starts working out.

"You should believe that I can do some physical activity," Rogen, the somewhat rotund star of "Knocked Up" laughed. "You have to believe I can do SOMETHING."

The actor we're most thankful for this past year, Rogen needs prove nothing to us – that's how confident we are that anything this man touches turns to gold. So we were all ears when he wanted to reveal more details about this highly anticipated upcoming project. Read more...

Seth RogenBefore you pick up that ginormous turkey leg this week, take a moment to think of the insane and delightful universe we live in where Judd Apatow interviews Daniel Day-Lewis in front of an audience.

A while back, I read that this L.A. event was set to take place last week after a screening of the much anticipated P.T. Anderson flick, "There Will Be Blood." Even the thought of it had me regretting my east coast address ever since.

So when I chatted up Seth Rogen about his amazing 2007, I decided to ask him about the event, and sure enough he was there the night before.

Said Rogen, "the Q&A with Judd was hilarious. Judd's first question was, 'Daniel, I know you're very private so I don’t want to ask about your personal life, but I have to ask...which did you like more: 'Knocked Up' or 'Superbad'?' And he clearly had never heard of either." Rogen joked, "he was busy mining for oil in real life."

As for the film itself, it's got Seth's vote. "The movie itself is absolutely mindblowing," he said. Rogen continued, "it kind of makes me want to quit acting to watch Daniel Day-Lewis act. He came out afterward and talked and there's literally zero similarity between him and the character. They don't sound the same or look the same or move the same. It could not be more different than how I operate. I literally wear the same shirts."
