Movie junkets are where us journalists march single-file into a room like a Pink Floyd video to ask famous people about their new movie. Aside from the free food, it's kind of tedious for us, but what's it like for the other side? Thankfully, "The Promotion" stars Jenna Fischer and Seann William Scott were kind enough to show us exactly what a day full of interviews is really like.

The MTV Movie Awards will air live on MTV on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with MTV News' "Coming Attractions" preshow kicking the evening off at 7:30 p.m. ET! Meanwhile, stay tuned to the MTV Movies Blog and MovieAwards.MTV.com.

'Robotech'It's all VMAs all the time here at MTV this week, but those of us in the movie biz keep on trucking. Back today with news on Tobey Maguire, Will Smith, Seann William Scott, and more.

- Seann William Scott to scope out Richard Kelly's "Box." (Reelz Channel)

- Grab a helmet: "Jackass 2.5” secretly in production. (Slashfilm)

- Teaser poster for Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood." (AICN)

- Wolfgang Peterson to direct "The Grays." (ComingSoon)

In a strange way, it's kind of fitting that Brett Ratner is going to direct a biopic about Hugh Hefner, titled "Playboy." After all, if you can't score an invite to the mansion to rub elbows with Pauly Shore and Stephen Dorff, isn't the next best thing dropping by Chez Ratner for some quality time in a photobooth with Bob Evans?

So with "Playboy" looking to get the fast track to your local multiplex (by the way, how is it that Larry Flynt got Milos Forman and Hef gets the director of "After the Sunset"?), let's do some casting, shall we? Who should play Hef? How about...

Ewan McGregor --  The only thing stopping us from loving this idea is Ewan tends to fall a little flat when he goes American ("Stay" still makes us sleepy thinking about it). Read more...

Would you want your kid mentored by "Anchorman" horndog Brian Fantana? How about by the Pale Ale-drinking artist formerly known as Stifler? Well, look out moms and dads, because you're about to get both. That's what "Knocked Up" star Paul Rudd joked while spilling the beans about his new film, "Big Brothers," co-starring Seann William Scott.

"It's about two guys who have a great life but they do something that gets them in trouble with the law, and they have to do community service [with] the big brothers program," Rudd said of the upcoming comedy. "They are horrible!" The Luke Greenfield-directed flick might need a mentor of its own, Rudd confessed. The 38-year-old non-virgin (we know, he's got a kid!) revealed that shooting was currently on hiatus.

"It's kind of going through this whole rewrite right now," he divulged. "So that's supposed to go to about July before we start shooting again."
