The brand new poster for the fourth official "American Pie" movie, "American Reunion," definitely looks familiar, but there's something different going on.

First of all, there's certainly not enough pie to go around to feed all the returning, randy cast members. All of the series' original stars, including Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Seann William Scott and Chris Klein, are all here, but I don't think that's it.

Maybe, it's because the new poster for "American Reunion" is an exact copy of the first film's iconic poster. Talk about a nostalgia attack. Everyone is in their old positions from the poster from way back in 1999, except this time Jason Biggs decided to put some clothes on. Be sure to check out the posters side-by-side. There's definitely a stark difference. It has been 13 years since the original "Pie," and, my, how time has passed!

Darren AronofskyWolverine has a remarkably gifted healing factor, but can "The Wolverine" recover from its latest wound?

Splash Page reports that Darren Aronofsky is parting ways with the film due to a lengthy production schedule that would have kept him out of the United States for nearly a year. Fox and leading man Hugh Jackman have pledged to aggressively seek a new director. We hope that Aronofsky's vision stays with the project despite the shift in leadership, much like Guillermo del Toro's work has stayed with "The Hobbit."

There's more movie news after the jump -- a "Firefly" star has joined "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter," Stifler is feasting on "American Pie" and Joseph Kosinski's latest flick has succumbed to "Oblivion."

In addition to the anticipation for "How To Train Your Dragon 2," which star Jay Baruchel called a "Chapter 2," not a straight sequel, another one of the actor's buzzworthy projects is his upcoming bloody hockey comedy "Goon."

MTV News recently caught up with Baruchel at the PaleyFest reunion for his TV show, "Undeclared," wherein we asked him for an update on his pet project.

"I saw a rough cut of it last week and it's phenomenal," Baruchel said. "It's easily the best hockey that's ever been captured on film, it has the most legit fighting that I've seen in movies in a decade, it's damn funny and my fiancee [Alison Pill] is beautiful and amazing in it so yeah, life is great!"

Jay BaruchelThis has been a big year for Jay Baruchel, what with him headlining three movies and all: "She's Out of My League," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and the hugely successful "How to Train Your Dragon." He's not finished yet, though, as we've been hearing major buzz about Baruchel's hockey-themed passion project, "Goon," a film he co-wrote with "Superbad" scribe Evan Goldberg that is currently in production and rumored to be a potential darling at the American Film Market this week.

Seann William Scott stars as Doug, a small town bouncer who, after physically defending his best friend (Baruchel) at a hockey game, is recruited to play the enforcer for a minor league team, despite initial misgivings. Liev Schreiber and Alison Pill also star, with Michael Dowse directing.

MTV News chatted with Baruchel about the film and who'll be starring, and scored some exclusive photos from the flick, which you can check out by clicking on the image below. Read more...

DESCWhen Seann William Scott spoke with MTV News about rejoining the "American Pie" franchise, he expressed some concern that he'll be remembered forever as Steve Stifler, the raunchy prankster that launched Scott to stardom. But the actor has some other tricks in his playbook that he's yet to unleash, and with the help of his "Cop Out" director, he might just get to "Hit Somebody."

Speaking with MTV's Josh Horowitz, Scott confirmed the recent news that he'll star in "Hit Somebody" for Kevin Smith. The role would see Scott playing Buddy, a hockey enforcer striving to score just one goal in a hockey game. Read more...

DESCAfter several years away from the big screen, the "American Pie" franchise has found a home in the direct-to-video market. Other than the occasional appearance from Eugene Levy and a few other tangential connections, those movies have little to do with the lewd trilogy that most viewers remember. But a recently announced "American Pie" installment is looking to change all that by bringing back the original cast for another theatrical round of pastry-poking mayhem.

Seven years have passed since "American Wedding," the last big screen installment in the series, so how likely is it that Jason Biggs, Chris Klein and the others will return for a fourth outing? Honestly, who really cares — as long as Seann William Scott is back as Steve Stifler, the masses will be pleased. Read more...

Seann William ScottIf you had called Seann William Scott and Adam Brody a couple of d---s a few days ago, it would've been a mere matter of harsh opinion. Today, it is a matter of fact.

The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop that the "Role Models" actor and the former "The O.C." star have both signed on for Kevin Smith's latest project, "A Couple of Dicks." The film, which begins shooting on Monday, is a buddy cop action-comedy starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as two detectives trying to track down a valuable stolen baseball card. From the sound of it, Scott and Brody's roles are directly linked to the film's central plot. Read more...

Yesterday we gave you a first look at "Role Models" in the form of five exclusive photos. Today we're all about the trailer. Watch for the first time as David Wain directs Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, and the artist formerly known as McLovin' in a holiday comedy that includes absurd energy drinks and live action role-playing. Needless to say we're there.

My man-crush on Paul Rudd is well known in these parts. And you know what? I'm not apologizing for it. He's addicted to fantasy baseball, has a razor sharp wit, and stars in all the movies I love. I would resent him if I didn't love him so much.

And now Paul is starring in a new flick (directed by frequent collaborator David Wain) alongside the likes of Seann William Scott and McLovin (yes, he has a real name but one must take every opportunity to write a name like McLovin I find). Tomorrow we've got your first look at the trailer and to whet your appetite today we've got a slew of exclusive photos below. Enjoy.
