Girls, mark your calendars and start picking out your Manolos. The long-awaited, official announcement that "Sex and the City 2” will, in fact, return arrives by way of a release date: May 28, 2010.

According the Variety, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will all return with director/writer Michael Patrick King.

It seems Warner Bros. and New Line are hoping lightening will strike twice with their choice of opening weekend. "SATC 2" will hit theaters on the same weekend that it did for the first film's release, which was May 20, 2008. Read more...

Sarah Jessica Parker in 'Sex and the City: The Movie'Stylist Patricia Field singlehandedly changed the way women look on TV with her work on "Sex and the City." She helped make Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte style icons and household names. She's since worked on bringing her unique sense of urban style to the worlds of "The Devil Wears Prada," "Ugly Betty" and the upcoming "Confessions of a Shopaholic," which opens on February 13.

But with six years of the "SATC" TV show under her belt, as well as the first installment of the movie franchise, Field can't wait to get her hands on some more outrageous fashions if another "SATC" film production is made.

"I do believe it will happen, because [creator] Michael Patrick King himself told me it's gonna happen," she recently told MTV News. "But I haven't really received any official information yet."

So, you might have to wait a while to see the ladies reunited on the big screen again, but in the meantime, check out what else this stylist supreme had to say right here!

It's been one hell of a year, folks. If you'd talked to me twelve months ago and said there wouldn't be room in our Bizarre Moments of '08 video for the time Steve Carell grabbed my ass, well I'd have called you crazy. But it's true. We combed through our stacks of tape and found ten truly insane incidents that beat that charming moment of sexual harassment.

The below video has it all. Val Kilmer talking dwarf sex on the set of "Willow"? Check. Steven Seagal hawking energy drinks? Yup. Rainn Wilson making fun of my sweater? Don't remind me. Here's to an even loonier '09! Enjoy.

'Sex and the City: The Movie'I'm not exactly the target audience (married/32-year old/male/"Star Trek" fan) but even I had to acknowledge the phenomenon that the "Sex and the City" movie was this past summer. It's for that reason that we have selected Sarah Jessica Parker as one of the actors we're most thankful for in 2008. You can check out our full chat with her here.

Considering the huge numbers "Sex" generated in May it's no surprise that sequel talk is on everyone's brain. And take heart fans, Parker says there is a potential storyline AND a start date.

Parker said she and writer/director Michael Patrick King have discussed many potential stories but seem to have found one they agree on, "We’re at the place where...we think we have this story and how do we put this together and are we completely sure that it’s the right thing to do?" Read more...

Hugh GrantThe course of true love never does run smooth. It's easy for a married couple to drift apart -- your career gets in the way, their habits start driving you insane, they get bored and start flirting with the secretary. Usually, all it takes to fix the problem is some therapy, a few romantic dinners, or an extended vacation. Or you could witness a murder and join the Witness Protection Program.

According to Variety, that's the plot of a new romantic-comedy from Columbia Pictures, and romantic-comedy veterans Sarah-Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant are in negotiations to star. Marc Lawrence penned the screenplay and is attached to direct. (He must really like Grant -- they previously worked together in "Music and Lyrics" and "Two Weeks Notice.") Read more...
