If you were famous, would you flaunt it?

Would you be someone like Johnny Depp, Seth Rogen and “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, who play down their star-quality every chance they get – thereby making us want to make them even bigger stars? Or would you be someone like the big-name actor I was interviewing yesterday, who really does seem like the type of guy who’d carry a wallet reading: “Bad Motherf-cker.”

Take a look at the video and you’ll see me talking to Samuel L. Jackson about his hit TV show and soon-to-be videogame “Afro Samurai.” Suddenly, I hear something familiar interrupting us, but I don’t know where it’s coming from.

Yep, it’s Samuel L. Jackson’s “Ezekiel 25:17” speech from “Pulp Fiction.”

“Are you pushing something,” I asked. “Or am I losing my mind? “That’s my phone,” Sam Jackson replied, fessing up. “And it’s Frank Miller! Damn! Read More...

Robert Downey Jr.During a recent sit-down with actor Robert Downey Jr., the question of cameos was the burning question at hand. After all, we've been reporting for the past year that everyone from Sam Jackson to Hilary Swank are seemingly making the trek to Tony Stark's neck of the woods. And that's not even including William Hurt's admission to MTV News in February that he shares a scene with Downey in "The Incredible Hulk."

So how did Downey respond to our inquiries? Well, he did admit that one unnamed star would "probably appear in the end credits" of "Iron Man," but refused to confirm whether the subject in question is Jackson, Swank or a third party. He managed to be a bit more forthcoming on the topic of his "Hulk" cameo, revealing the moment in question. Read More...

Samuel L. JacksonDepending on which metric you use (and whether you account for inflation) Samuel L. Jackson is either the highest or second-highest grossing movie star alive today. But while Jackson's cameo in "Iron Man" is bound to help the cause, his main competition is about to get a pretty assured bump of his own.

There's not much you can do to stop Harrison Ford or Indiana Jones. That's why Jackson was so eager to join them.

"I was kinda hoping [they would find me a role]," he joked of a cameo in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." "They said they couldn't!" Read More...

Samuel L. JacksonThat Samuel L. Jackson will play Nick Fury for a cameo appearance in the upcoming "Iron Man" movie is just about the worst kept secret in comic-dom, somewhere just south of "Jeff Bridges will play Iron Monger" and just a little less obvious than "Iron Man will fly."

Heck, super producer and Marvel movie mastermind Avi Arad himself let it slip to MTV News nearly seven months ago. As in, LAST July.

"The Sam thing was supposed to be the biggest secret of them all," he told us then, clearly frustrated. "It's amazing how it got out." See? It's right there! That makes it what we call "old news." But if you think that also makes it undeniable, well, than you clearly have never met Samuel L. Jackson. Read More...

You've got to admire any actor who essentially told George Lucas he'd be happy to do anything in a "Star Wars" movie. And not only that, but Samuel L. Jackson is sounding like he's still up for being a part of the franchise in whatever form it takes.

As we all know the "Star Wars" saga is far from over with not one but two television series in development. The live action series is set to take place after the events of Episode III meaning a Mace Windu appearance ain't looking so likely BUT there's always the new CGI animated Clone Wars series.

And Sam Jackson sounds game to return."Yeah, absolutely," Jackson told MTV News today when asked if he's interested in voicing the Mace Windu character in the new series. Read More...

Hilary SwankHalle Berry and Jennifer Garner are just a few actresses who've fallen short in superhero movies over the last few years. But now, could a million-dollar baby be in training to take on another underdog battle?

Marvel Studios mega-producer Avi Arad confirmed to us for the first time over the weekend that 2-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank filmed some top-secret moments for "Iron Man," the highly-anticipated superhero flick due in theaters next May. The news raises eyebrows not only because it isn't the type of film Swank normally appears in, but also because it could be assumed that her role would lay the groundwork for a future, bigger Marvel appearance. The rumor mill first began circulating Swank's name after director Jon Favreau capitalized the "s" in "Swank" in a MySpace blog post.

"How do you know [about that]?," a stunned Arad replied when asked about Swank. After a few beats, he admitted: "It's a cameo." Read More...

'The Cleaner'Imagine being 13-years-old, working opposite the world's biggest bad-ass, and being one hell of a speller to boot. That was the reality of "Akeelah and the Bee" star Keke Palmer earlier this year, as she played daughter to Samuel L. Jackson in a cool-sounding thriller that will help keep his "Pulp Fiction" legacy alive...well, kinda.

"I have a movie with Samuel L. Jackson coming out in the fall called 'Cleaner,'" the wide-grinning actress told us recently. "It's an amazing movie, and I love it."

Directed by action veteran Renny Harlin and co-starring some heavy-hitters (Ed Harris, Robert Forster), hotties (Eva Mendes) and hallowed character actors (Luis Guzman), the flick picks up on the Cleaner mythos crafted in flicks like "La Femme Nikita," "Fiction" and "Point of No Return" - giving one his own movie for the first time.
