Ryan Seacrest Brings 'Idol' Talk To Sundance

Ryan Seacrest braved the brisk Park City, Utah weather to broadcast his morning radio show Friday from the Bing Bar at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

Shortly after interviewing rock legend Steve Tyler for “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” about his first week on American Idol, the multitasking host shared this cheeky update via Twitter:

Ryan Seacrest, Don Johnson And Larry King Are Three Amigos In Today's Daily TwitPic

This morning's Daily TwitPic has absolutely nothing to do with "New Moon." I know that was the weekend highlight for many of you, but no one on the Twitter-Wood feed last Friday seemed will to share pics of their glittered-covered selves. Go figure.

Nonetheless, today's pic made me do a little bit of a double-take. These three guys may have history on television, but they couldn't have come from more different places. There's Larry King of course, armed and dangerous in this pic, and celebrating his birthday party. Then you've got Ryan Seacrest, "American Idol" host and "E! News" fixture. And finally there's Don Johnson. Some of you younger folk might not recognize him, and that's a shame. He was one half of the crime-fighting super-team on "Miami Vice." Today's Twitter-Wood feed is popping with some oddities. Rainn Wilson has some issues with the planet name "Uranus" (don't we all?); he suggests a great alternative, named for a 70s art-rock outfit. Michael Ian Black also shares some fatherly advice with his son and Tom Felton announces his plans to do a live musical performance after he's finished with work on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Russell BrandWarmoth's out, so I'm stepping in to cover today's Twitter-Wood beat. It's pretty daunting, manning this great ship Twitter-Wood. Brian has done a kickass job of turning this feature into a daily destination for a lot of people. And since he's not here, I feel compelled to give props where props are due. It ain't easy mining hundreds of celeb Tweets for worthwhile things to share. I would encourage you all to shout out Brian in future Twitter-Wood comments sections.

Today's feed features a cryptic message from comedian Eddie Izzard and a truth bomb sponsored by none other than Donnie Wahlberg. There also a hilarious one-liner from Russell Brand and comments from Ice T about his time spent yesterday with the video game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."
