Brad PittOnce Brad Pitt finishes with "World War Z," he's going to become "The Gray Man."

Deadline has the news that Pitt will be starring in the James Gray-directed flick. "The Gray Man," an adaptation of Mark Greaney's thriller novel of the same name, follows a former CIA agent-turned-assassin as he fights his way around the globe to save his handler and the handler's family. Deadline believes that filming will start in early 2012.

There's nothing quite like a little bit of legal drama to start your work week off right, is there? Certainly, when you've got actors like Matthew McConaughey and Marisa Tomei at the helm, there's plenty of room to launch into Monday with a star-studded legal affair like "The Lincoln Lawyer."

Yahoo Movies posted the first official trailer for "The Lincoln Lawyer" over the weekend, showcasing McConaughey's latest turn as a lawyer thrust into a hairy legal battle filled with murder and deception. Based on a novel from crime writer Michael Connelly, director Brad Furman's adaptation of "The Lincoln Lawyer" arrives in theaters on March 18, 2011. Read More...

Ryan Phillippe was down at South By Southwest last weekend to promote "MacGruber," in which he plays a relatively straight role to Will Forte's MacGyver-like running joke. While chatting MTV's Josh Horowitz up with fellow star Kristen Wiig about the film, Phillippe mentioned another project that he'll soon get started on.

"I think I'm doing a Western in May, with Susan Sarandon, Billy Bob Thornton, Richard Dreyfuss [and] Bruce Dern," he said. "It's called 'The Big Valley,' which was a [television] series in the '60s, and so it's sort of based on that." Read More...

Will ForteMove over MacGuyer... here comes MacGruber! Variety reports that Will Forte's bumbling spy is on his way to the big screen like so many "Saturday Night Live" characters before him. Expect considerably bigger explosions, more gum wrappers and deeper personal issues in this outing.

If you've never seen the "SNL" sketch and you can't figure out the joke purely from the character's name, allow me to recap. MacGruber (played by Forte) is a spoof of 1980s TV action hero MacGuyver, whose ability to get out of tight spots using common household items as bombs, weapons or lockpicks made him a legend. Unfortunately, MacGruber lacks those skills, or he is too distracted by his personal troubles to put them to use.
