For his next film, "Mother and Child," director Rodrigo Garcia has wisely teamed up with Hollywood's favorite trio -- Alfonso Cuaron ("Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"), Guillermo del Toro ("Hellboy") and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu ("Babel"). Believe me, when these three hop on to produce a project, you should sit up and take notice of who they're favoring.
The movie spans 30 years in the lives of three women -- a 50-year-old woman, the daughter she gave up for adoption 35 years ago, and a black woman looking to adopt a baby. Casting is still underway, and given the big names of the producers, I wouldn't be surprised if it attracted a little star power. Read more...
