Imagine being 13-years-old, working opposite the world's biggest bad-ass, and being one hell of a speller to boot. That was the reality of "Akeelah and the Bee" star Keke Palmer earlier this year, as she played daughter to Samuel L. Jackson in a cool-sounding thriller that will help keep his "Pulp Fiction" legacy alive...well, kinda.
"I have a movie with Samuel L. Jackson coming out in the fall called 'Cleaner,'" the wide-grinning actress told us recently. "It's an amazing movie, and I love it."
Directed by action veteran Renny Harlin and co-starring some heavy-hitters (Ed Harris, Robert Forster), hotties (Eva Mendes) and hallowed character actors (Luis Guzman), the flick picks up on the Cleaner mythos crafted in flicks like "La Femme Nikita," "Fiction" and "Point of No Return" - giving one his own movie for the first time.
