Alex Chilton, Hank Azaria In 'The Smurfs' And 'American Idol' In Today's Twitter-Wood

Twitter-Wood name dropping was in full effect today, with Tom Felton running into Robert Pattinson, Simon Pegg hanging out with Christopher Lee and David Pressman having drinks with Sam Worthington. Even the loners were tweeting about other people, though, as Greg Mottola shared his first memory of seeing the late Alex Chilton, and Neil Patrick Harris clarified Hank Azaria's role as Gargamel in "The Smufs."

What Do You Make Of The Less-Than-Stellar Opening For 'Remember Me'?

On paper, it was a surefire weekend winner. A "Twilight" star and a "Lost" star in the male and female leads, respectively. Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan supporting the starring duo of Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. A dramatic story where Twilighters finally get to see RPattz stretch himself.

With all of that going for it, "Remember Me" still clocked in an opening weekend box office gross of $8.3 million, which was only good enough to land the number four spot on the charts, behind "Alice in Wonderland," "Green Zone" and "She's Out of My League." I'm here to try to figure out what happened.

'Alice In Wonderland' Wins Its Second Weekend In The Sunday Box Office Report

Even with four new wide releases in theaters this weekend, director Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" proved its staying power by claiming the gold medal at this weekend's box office. Suffering a 46.6% drop from last weekend's $116.1 million intake, "Alice" still managed an impressive $62 million stateside result. Combined with foreign box office numbers, "Alice" has made $429.6 million worldwide in just two weeks. Read More...

'Alice In Wonderland' Wins Again In The Saturday Box Office Report

Moviegoers proved that there's still plenty of wonder to be had within the 3-D world of Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland." The Disney fantasy film took a decisive $17.4 million first place finish on Friday, bringing the worldwide total to $258 million thus far. Robert Pattinson On 'Bel Ami': 'There's A Lot Of Sex'

FROM MTV.COM: While the steamy sex scenes in "Remember Me" (March 12) might seem like a big shock to Robert Pattinson fans used to the chaste kisses seen in the "Twilight Saga," the 23-year-old Brit said that they are nothing compared to the sex scenes he filmed for the drama "Bel Ami," due out in 2011.

"There's a lot of sex in ['Bel Ami']," Pattinson warned.

Some of the previous rumors surrounding the film's sex scenes are dubious, but recent reports that say Pattinson will be filming an orgy sequence for the movie all tie back to the fact that there is going to be a lot of explicit sex in "Bel Ami."

Pierce Brosnan Felt 'Protective' Of Robert Pattinson On The Set Of 'Remember Me'

FROM MTV.COM: The rabid fans with their cell phone cams and ear-splitting screams. The frenzy over a rumored run-in with a moving taxi cab. The daily perils and pleasures of working in the Big Apple. As all this by-now-familiar madness surrounded Robert Pattinson on the New York City set of "Remember Me" last year, co-star Pierce Brosnan couldn't help but want to shield his fellow actor.

"I play his dad and there's a part of you, as a dad — you feel protective toward the fellow," Brosnan told MTV News.

Robert Pattinson Recalls The 'Ridiculous Experience' Of Shooting 'Remember Me' On The Streets Of Manhattan

FROM MTV.COM: Robert Pattinson has admitted that when it comes to fame, he's kind of shy. So when he was hanging out with his "Remember Me" co-star Pierce Brosnan, he witnessed a whole new way of approaching the fame game.

"I went out a couple of times with Pierce [Brosnan]. He's totally recognizable and he makes no effort to tone it down," the "Twilight Saga" actor told Vogue magazine. "Some people were glancing over at us in the restaurant, and he just went over and introduced himself. And it does work. It dissipates all the attention."

10. "Glee" returns, or "Fox's Other Singing Show Comes Back"

Fox's knockout high school choir club comedy has become an instant television classic, and on April 13, it will return from its four month hiatus to air the final nine episodes of the first season. The show already had a fan following (Gleeks), had a Hot Topic tour and has been nominated for four Golden Globes including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor and Best Actress. Needless to say, seeing how the show wraps up its first season is definitely something to sing about.

Robert Pattinson Sheds His Vampirism In This New 'Remember Me' Trailer

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Would you be surprised to hear we have one more Robert Pattinson trailer to show you before tomorrow's big "New Moon" premiere? Probably not, right? But what if we told you it had nothing to do with sparkling vampires? In a feat of epic timing, Summit has released the trailer for Rob's other 2010 film "Remember Me" right in time to coincide with the hoopla surrounding the sequel's release. And in typical RPattz style, the comely actor is all brooding melancholy in this first sneak peek.

The film centers around a pair of star-crossed lovers (sound familiar?) dealing with their own family tragedies. The trailer opens on Tyler (Rob) trying to break up a street fight, ultimately leading to his arrest and a bloodied face (which explains all those paparazzi shots of a worse-for-the-wear Rob strolling through New York City). When Tyler's father Charles, played by Pierce Brosnan, comes to bail him out, it's clear there's no love lost between father and son. "You could do worse than a father who bails you out of jail," Charles says. "I don't want to be bailed out of anything," Tyler shoots back.

Robert Pattinson Hits The Big Apple For 'Remember Me'

Robert PattinsonFROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Last week, reports surfaced that “Twilight” star Cam Gigandet would be playing a vampire on screen again in a live-action adaptation of “Priest,” a popular manga series published by TokyoPop.

But hold the phone, “Twilight” fans, it appears that tales of his blood-sucking role have been greatly exaggerated. During a press event for his upcoming film “The Roommate,” the actor said there’s been a slight misunderstanding when it comes to his “Priest” character.
