Last year, Jennifer Grey — she who complained of a "possibly armed, certainly weird" intruder in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and proved that it truly is quite difficult to put Baby in a corner during "Dirty Dancing — pranced her way to victory on "Dancing With the Stars."

The latest cast for the ABC reality competition was announced on Monday night and again delivers a number of toe-tappers with cinematic credentials. From a crane-kicking New Jersey teen to the mother of a child whose inner monologue sounds suspiciously like Bruce Willis, "DWTS" will offer up a number of familiar faces to movie fans when the new season premieres on March 21. Read about them past the jump, and click the photo above for a trip down memory lane!

Justin BieberThe fact that Sylvester Stallone has an opinion about Brock Lesnar's UFC match against Cain Velasquez shouldn't surprise you, which is more than can be said about the one man he said would be capable of taking Velasquez down.

Meanwhile, the younger faces in Twitter-Wood were all about their photos today and last night. Ariana Grande nabbed the elusive Justin Bieber for a pic, while BooBoo Stewart ran into someone you'll be seeing very soon for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," and Conan O'Brien expressed some solidarity with Kristen Stewart. Find out more about that after the jump along with who got confused during the Packers/Vikings game last night.

Shia LaBeoufFrankie Muniz was not amused today about a statement from Shia LaBeouf in which the "Wall Street 2" star said that many of his films could have swapped Muniz into his roles and still been hits. It was an odd comment, but Muniz cleared the air with his own thoughts on the matter.

In other tweets, the deaths of Greg Giraldo and Tony Curtis put dampers on a lot of moods. Steve Martin, James Gunn and others contributed to the collective obituaries for the comedian and actor, though Gunn's memories may be pretty unique in the scheme of things. Find out why after the jump along with one volunteer to take Rahm Emanuel's seat in the White House and why Chloe Moretz had to do some trapeze training.

Corey Haim meant a lot things to the posters in Twitter-Wood, and his unexpected death this morning triggered an outpouring of rememberances. Ashton Kutcher called him a "childhood hero," Alyssa Milano said he was a "sweet boy," and numerous other noted their favorite Haim films, from "The Lost Boys" and "Lucas" to "License to Drive" and "Dream a Little Dream."

Whether they remembered him as a someone they watched before coming to Hollywood or as a fellow actor whose career spanned decades, Haim got a lot of love from the Twitter community today. "The Lost Boys" will outdo "Twilight" every time on my all-time favorite vampire films lists, and Haim will remain there along with it. Check out what everyone had to say after the jump, and feel free to share your own memories in the comments. Read More...

News that "Poltergeist" actress Zelda Rubinstein has been taken off of life support didn't go unnoticed by horror movie fans in the Twitter-Wood community this week. The sad revelation caught the attention of both Richard Kelly and Jeff Katz (on his birthday, nonetheless), and I definitely echo those sentiments to her family.

In other posts, attempted underwear bomb from last week is still a trending topic among tweeters. Kevin Nealon was among those contemplating the ongoing investigation yesterday. Catch those thoughts after the jump along with Brian Lynch on Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner, Christina Applegate and Emmy Rossum on James Cameron's work in "Avatar" and more in the Twitter-Wood report for December 30, 2009. Veteran's Day brought no shortage of veteran appreciation today in Twitter-Wood, prompting thanks and memories from across the board, as well as a personal note from "Twilight" actor Gil Birmingham.

Meanwhile, Jason Schwartzman's on his way to the NYC debut of "Fantastic Mr. Fox," which as a Wes Anderson follower, I am anxious to see myself this weekend. Another new release, "Precious," really got a hold of Tyrese Gibson, who said the film's been keeping him awake. Check out their thoughts along with pictures from Peter Facinelli and John Stamos and a Henry Winkler autograph to be jealous of after the jump. It's all in the Twitter-Wood report for November 11, 2009. Read More...

Ralph MacchioRecently at Sundance, we bumped into Eighties icon Ralph Macchio and brought you his first thoughts on Will Smith's upcoming “Karate Kid” remake. But while we played in the snow with the original Daniel-san, we were also eager to get his thoughts on the recent news that Mr. Miyagi is going to be played by…Jackie Chan?

“I don’t know,” sighed the now 47-year-old star, in town to promote his Slamdance flick “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead." “I think Jackie Chan, we all assumed that’s where they were going to go - unless they were thinking of just casting an unknown.” Read More...

We all know a "Karate Kid" remake starring Will Smith's son Jaden is coming. We all know that some people are unsure that this is a good thing. But still, even as the project has been rendered wobbly with controversy, Ralph Macchio refuses to sweep the leg.

“Listen, here’s my take on it," the 80's icon told MTV News on Sunday, making his first-ever public statements addressing the remake of the film that made him famous. "I think Jaden - you know, Will Smith’s kid - the kid’s got chops. He’s young; he’s like eleven...That story will work forever, when well-told. So, it makes sense in that respect." Read More...
