"Taken" and "From Paris With Love" director Pierre Morel is shaking the Spice on "Dune," the upcoming adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic science fiction novels. We've known that for a little while now, so nothing new there. What is new, however, is that a brand new screenwriter is coming on board to help Morel overhaul the initial Peter Berg script.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Chase Palmer has been hired to tackle the "Dune" script for Paramount's planned adaptation. According to the report, Palmer will integrate Morel's ideas into the story, which should result in a movie experience fairly close to the source material. Read More...
