Amber Heard, an actress best known on the big screen for playing sexy man-eaters (sometimes literally, as in the case of "Zombieland"), is snagging headlines today for coming out as a lesbian. The 24-year-old made her sexuality public at GLAAD's 25th anniversary party on Friday when she walked the red carpet with her girlfriend, photographer Tasya van Ree.

Just in time to honor Heard for her courageous move, MTV Movies Blog has scored an exclusive clip of the actress from the upcoming thriller "And Soon the Darkness."

In the film, two girlfriends, Stephanie (Heard) and Ellie ("Cloverfield" star Odette Yustman), head to exotic Argentina for a relaxing girls' getaway filled with bar-hopping, sun-soaking and flirting with the local dudes. All is grand until Ellie goes missing, seemingly part of a string of unsolved tourist kidnappings. Distrusting the local sheriff, Stephanie teams with a kindly American ex-pat (Karl Urban) to find her friend. But who can she really trust? And can she find Ellie -- dun, dun, dun! -- before darkness falls? Read More...

Let me set the scene: four of the stars of "You Again" gather to do some press. Betty White, Sigourney Weaver, Odette Yustman and Kristen Bell. Things are going fine enough until Bell decides to go off on a long-winded explanation of character motivations and... snore. Her co-stars feel the same way, and they tell her so.

Let me tell you something-- you do not want to be on the receiving end of a Betty White/Sigourney Weaver tag team assault. You also do not want to disrespect Weaver, or mention "Avatar" in her presence. Thanks Funny or Die. I'll never get tired of seeing the White take people down a peg.

“When I was a little girl, what really made me want to be an actress was seeing ‘Halloween’ parts IV and V, and the little girl that was in that,” revealed Meagan Good over the weekend at the MTV Movie Awards, praising the work of actress Danielle Harris in those films. “I was like, ‘I want to do that in a movie!’ I’d scream really loud, in the middle of the night [to practice].”

Now, after launching a successful career that has put her in such films as “D.E.B.S.,” “Brick” and “You Got Served,” Good is ready to get Roman herself in “Saw V,” as well as a high-profile original film from the filmmaker behind “Transformers.” Read More...
