It's been over a year since I last rolled out clips from "Mystery Team," an adventure-comedy from the minds at Derrick Comedy (whose online projects have apparently been streamed over 100 million times). The film stars three high school friends who are determined to turn their childhood-era detective agency into a real, full-blown adult operation. The flick played well at Sundance (where we caught up with the cast) and is now dropping on DVD come May 25, along with digital download, OnDemand and on video game consoles. Check out below for another exclusive look at the flick.

It was only last week that we premiered an exclusive clip of "Mystery Team," so it should still be in your head. But just in case it isn't, we got the low-down on the film from the NYC comedy troupe called Derrick that's responsible for this (hilarious) madness.

"The premise is the three of us play these three high school seniors," the group explained. "And when we were little kids we had this Encyclopedia Brown-style kid detective agency. The movie opens up and were like 18-years-old and we're still doing it the exact same way. so to prove to us and the town we could still be detectives as adults, we take it upon ourselves to solve a double murder."

I'd never heard of "Mystery Team" before getting a few clips ahead of its Sundance premiere, and I gotta say...it looks pretty damn funny. The film follows three high school friends who start a detective agency, and needless to say hijinx ensue. Having only seen the footage below, it looks like a cross between the more farcical episodes of "Mr. Show" and the quirky banter of "Napoleon Dynamite." I have no idea what that means but it's good stuff.

Check out the fun below (note: there are two clips back to back).
