There were so many great moments that occurred at this year's Movie Awards, both on and off camera, our head are still spinning trying to remember and/or repurpose them all for everyone to see.

One of our favorite backstage moments involved a chance meeting between favorite "Harry Potter" star Tom Felton, and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Minutes after accepting his second Movie Award for Best Villain, MTV News was chatting up Felton about the win and where he'll keep his golden popcorn, when Grohl suddenly jumped into the frame.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Grohl directed at Felton and MTV, after which we informed the Foo that we were chatting with Felton about his big win.

You never know what's going to happen at the MTV Movie Awards. If you're me, you might end up interviewing a 7-year-old girl made famous wanting to get s**t-faced on chocolate. You might find yourself talking with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley while standing next to a shriveled "Green Lantern" alien and hear the Victoria's Secret model crack, "That looks like me after I go tanning!" Or you could find yourself thrust into a chat with hip-hop diva Nicki Minaj.

For a guy whose head is firmly stuck in the world of movies, that last interview can pose a particularly perilous challenge. But things ended up working out well. I got a bit of insight into the film career she hopes to have, and then the Young Money starlet ended the conversation by saying, "Thank you, sexy boy."

Yep, it was that kind of evening. And with cinema on everyone's minds, Nicki confessed that she looks forward to a time when music is no longer her primary focus. "That's what I want to do with my life, I want to retire as an actress," she said. "I love acting, I studied acting."

In just over a month, it all ends — and in some ways, that ending has already begun.

The first full clip from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" aired during the MTV Movie Awards over the weekend, and in case you missed it, you can check it out right here. It's a powerful scene ripped straight out of the climax of not just "Deathly Hallows," but of the entire "Potter" series; indeed, in many respects, this encounter between Harry and Voldemort represents the entire message of J.K. Rowling's epic tale of witchcraft and wizardry.

Frankly, we were kind of surprised to see this "Potter" clip in full, given the fact that it's such a monumental moment and very, very spoilery, especially taken out of context. To get a better read on how the HP fan community is reacting to the full scene, we reached out to some "Potter" experts for their take on the clip.

"What WB has been promoting a lot is that 'it ends here,'" explained Andrew Sims of Muggle Net. "And I think that this is that moment they're talking about. It does end here."

With the MTV Movie Awards wrapped up and the winners basking in the glory of their golden popcorn, we couldn't help but wonder about all the talented actors, filmmakers, and musicians who shared success in this year of movies — even if they didn't score at the big show last night.

Looking at past Movie Awards and the category changes that have emerged, it's interesting to wonder who might have left the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles last night with an award to their name. What if Best On-Screen Duo still existed, for example? Would that have been an instant victory for Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis? That's the question we're tackling after the jump as we get into full-on daydreaming mode about the Movie Awards categories of yesteryear and the stars of 2011.

Best On-Screen Duo (1992-2006)
Mila and Natalie showed some real intense chemistry on screen in "Black Swan." While the on-going competition and jealously between the two dancers may make them seem like candidates for worst enemies, how can anyone forget their awesome hook up scene after a night of crazy drugs, dancing, and booze? They might've lost Best Kiss, but they'd definitely get our vote for best duo!

In the war between vampires and werewolves versus wizards, it appears that the spell-casting crowd lost the battle at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. Despite being nominated for six awards, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1" walked away from last night's proceedings with only one to its name — Tom Felton, who won Best Villain for the second year in a row — while "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" managed to win five out of eight nominations, including three directly involving Robert Pattinson (and one category in which the movie beat itself).

To get a sense for how "Harry Potter" fans are feeling about the franchise's latest Movie Awards showing, we reached out to some of the most noted experts in the "Potter" community and found out that, yes, disappointment is sadly in the air.

"I was really disappointed," said Julia Hodges of DanRadcliffe.com and RupertGrint.net. "The 'Harry Potter' films are not only amazing for the people who love 'Harry Potter,' they're amazing films. They've been nominated for so many Oscars and have actually won a few. They were recognized at the most recent BAFTA Awards for Outstanding Contribution to British Cinema. So the quality of the 'Potter' films alone — it's incredible."

When Justin Bieber won the award for Best Jaw Dropping Moment, the newest category to be added to the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, the real jaw dropping moment for some viewers was the fact that the performer won the title at all. Not to discredit Justin's efforts, mind you, but there's no doubt about it: he was facing some very stiff competition.

From Natalie Portman's cringe-worthy "Black Swan" hangnail to James Franco's self-dismemberment in "127 Hours" and the destruction of a dream world in "Inception" — not to mention that oh-so horrific cocktail Steve-O endured during "Jackass 3-D" — there's no denying that there were some serious contenders for Best Jaw Dropping Moment this year.

For Bieber himself, at least, his jaw was absolutely on the floor during the "Never Say Never" performance that earned him the Golden Popcorn. The star told MTV News after his victory: "It was great. It was my first time performing at Madison Square Garden and just being there and having that experience, I'm glad that I got to just have that experience. It was great."

We're sure the debate will rage on for quite some time, but for now, let us know what you think – did Justin deserve to win Best Jaw Dropping Moment? If not, who do you think the award belonged to? Cast your vote in the poll below and take the conversation to the comments section and Twitter!

During Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, Justin Timberlake proved just how "totally platonic" his relationship with Mila Kunis was when he groped her like a crowdsurfer at Ozzfest.

Of course, Kunis was all too happy to return the favor, going low and grabbing JT's junk while the two — who, it should be noted, star in the upcoming comedy "Friends With Benefits" (and whose relationship has been the subject of much speculation in the past) — announced the nominees for "Best Male Performance."

Not surprisingly, in the hours following the Awards, Kunis and Timberlake's rather, uh, unique embrace became the most-searched thing on the Internet, and since the zeitgeist clearly loves some good old fashioned genital-groping, we'd be remiss if we didn't point out the fact that, over the years, MTV's award shows have basically set the standard for inappropriate touching ... we're sort of pioneers in that regard.

So, with Mila's and Justin's pawing still fresh on everyone's mind, here's a look back at some of the most inappropriate touches in MTV award-show history.

FROM MTV MOVIES: The end of the "Harry Potter" franchise comes to one kind of end on July 15, but it all ended in a different way on Sunday night (June 5), when an exclusive clip from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" that aired during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.

Part of the seen should already be familiar since it appears in the first "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" full-length trailer that came out last year: Harry Potter walks through the Forbidden Forest to be killed by Voldemort. "The boy who lives," He Who Must Not Be Named says, "come to die." But that was merely a tease for the full clip that fans saw during the Movie Awards, where "Part 1" was up for six Golden Popcorns.

Voldemort's head turns as the scene reveals that Harry is walking toward him. Hagrid, in chains being held by Voldemort's Death Eaters, yells out for Harry to stop, but it is too late. After He Who Must Not Be Names says that familiar line, "The boy who lives ... come to die," he casts the most unforgivable spell in the wizarding world, Avada Kedavra, at Harry.
