The Kings of Leon dress rehearsal was cool. It was the first time I was able to see the stage all lit up. The lights and televisions really add to the atmosphere. It had such an exclusive feel. Only a few people are allowed in, and the auditorium was nearly empty. How cool is that?

Yesterday, I got to tag along on a shoot Tim Kash was doing with Mario Lopez. We met him out in Burbank at Gio's Boxing Gym.
I watched Tim in action as he interviewed Mario. While they were filming, I heard my name being called. I turn around, and who do I see? None other than the twins I interviewed while trying out interview tips Charlyne Yi taught me. So random! They told me they would watch for me on the red carpet. HOLY MOLY, people! I just had another amazing surprise this morning. I got to watch the "New Moon" trailer that will be airing on Sunday during the big show (airing live at 9 p.m. ET). Amazing! I loved it! It looks like director Chris Weitz has tried to incorporate as many elements from the book as possible, and -- no worries -- the vamps all look great. I was completely speechless at first. Maybe it was just that good. Maybe it was the "top secret" feel of the whole thing. Maybe I'm just a closet Twilighter like so many others. Who knows? I went out to Burbank today to watch Tim Kash interview Mario Lopez. We met him at Gio's Boxing Gym, where he was about to work out. It was nice getting to see Tim interview. He kept his composure even as Mario was throwing a few practice punches. Mario had a lot of energy and was constantly on the move. I even got my chance to step in the ring and ask him a couple questions.

I am amazed at how down-to-earth Keke Palmer is. She is only 15 and has already won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Motion Picture, and her Nickelodeon series "True Jackson, V.P." is one of the most popular shows on Nickelodeon. And those are only a few of her accomplishments!

I met Keke Palmer from Nickelodeon's "True Jackson, V.P." this morning. We drove to the MTV Networks office in Santa Monica to meet her at a fitting, where she was deciding what to wear to the Movie Awards on Sunday.

As I wrote yesterday, "Paper Heart" and "Knocked Up" star Charlyne Yi and I hung out at Mann's Chinese Theater. She wanted to share the interviewing experience she gained from her upcoming movie "Paper Heart" with me, since this weekend I'll be on the at the MTV Movie Awards interviewing the stars.

I had a pretty cool surprise this morning after we got done with the morning news meeting. I actually got to hold one of the popcorn awards! So cool! It was so fun getting to see it up close and personal. It was surprisingly heavier than I was expecting, and the popcorn kernels up close are so realistic, almost good enough to eat. It is as if they took pieces of popcorn and dipped them in gold.
I even got to shoot a little acceptance speech, which you should come back later and watch!
