Captain America- Captain America won't have his own movie for a few more years, but the true American patriot is already popping up in "Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk." Or parts of him are, at any rate. (/film)

'Transformers'Recently, the news broke that Jonah Hill won't be rolling out in "Transformers 2” after all. It's sad, sad news for movie fans hoping the sequel would get a legitimate comedic-sidekick injection rather than, say, filling the role with Dax Shepard.

According to series producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the movie has had to move on without the "Superbad" star – but we can still expect some big announcements over the next several weeks.

"No, no," he said of Hill's reported casting. "Ultimately, we'll have a couple casting surprises for everybody soon."

Director Michael Bay and returning stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Jon Voight are reportedly on board to return, and Bonaventura confirmed plans to start shooting the movie in Philadelphia and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania next month. Read more...

Yup, it's exactly what it sounds like. "Transformers" star Megan Fox is back in the news this week after being named "World's Sexiest Woman" by FHM magazine. Having interviewed her at the Maxim Hot 100 bash, I can't say I disagree. You won't either when you check out this video where we follow Megan around L.A. as she scours for the perfect dress for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.

Jason ReitmanThere are certain directors who are living legends walking among us: The Coens, Scorsese, Spielberg. Then there are the fast-risers who will likely be entertaining us for decades to come: Zack Snyder, Judd Apatow. And to that list, we officially have to add one Jason Reitman. And now, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker has revealed exclusively to MTV News what his next project will be. Well, kinda.

"Yeah, I'm writing something," he grinned, cryptically. "I'm going to direct it at the end of the year. And no, I haven't told anyone what it is yet." After a few minutes of poking and prodding, we finally got the Oscar-nominated "Juno" and "Thank You for Smoking Director" to cough up a wee bit more.

"It's a comedy and a drama [book adaptation]," he revealed. "Think 'Thank You for Smoking,' but instead of political it's corporate." Read more...

Diablo CodyBy now, you might be feeling guilty this holiday season with the realization that you'd rather hang with the boundary-breaking family of "Juno" than your own. But that feeling might fade soon enough, as screenwriter Diablo Cody and director Jason Reitman are hard at work planning a follow-up that could make us all run and hide in the arms of a loved one.

"It's a horror movie, and it's also about teenagers," explained Cody, the white-hot writer currently accumulating awards nominations faster than Angelina Jolie takes in international babies. "It's a lot darker [than 'Juno'], and it also has comedic elements. Horror is my favorite genre - and like Juno, I like horror movies." Read more...

Rainn Wilson as Dwight SchruteIn a recent episode of "The Office," oddball Dwight revealed a habit of stashing weaponry around the workplace, including such items as a crossbow, blow darts and a long sword. Such weapon training may prove useful for Rainn Wilson as he prepares for his upcoming role in "Bonzai Shadowhands," a movie starring and being written by the fast-rising comedic actor.

Director Jason Reitman explains the flick as "the story of a reformed alcoholic ninja, and his relationship with a teenager." He continued, "I describe it as 'Midnight Cowboy' meets 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.'" But with more laughs, lest you worry that Wilson is suspending his comic forte to mount an Oscar campaign. "Every time I read pages of the script, it's just the funniest thing I've ever read," Reitman assured.

The "Thank You for Smoking" director, who features Wilson in a cameo for his new flick "Juno," was eager to elaborate on Wilson’s training: "I don't think he'll be changing his physique [for 'Shadowhands'], although he will be sharpening his ninja skills…he's going to have to do his own stunts." Segment Producer Vanessa White Wolf took a moment from her hectic schedule leading up to this Sunday's MTV Movie Awards (8PM/7C) to let us know what she's busy with as all of us here prepare for the big show.

So today was my first day in the L.A. offices for this year's MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show (airing Sunday at 7:30PM ET). My first order of business is working with editor extraordinaire Darryl Fox on the very special Fashion Transformations we'll be featuring in the Pre-Show.

Finishing a rough cut of the Megan Fox segment as I type this; the "Transformers" star let our cameras tag along as she met with her stylists to pick a dress for the show. She, of course, looks amazing in pretty much anything so I think the most difficult part will be deciding which one she likes best. Unfortunately, as I watch the tape, she says that each of the 17 dresses (not that many, but almost) is her favorite.

As soon as we're done with that, Darryl and I will start piecing together the Whitney Port segment. You'll remember Whitney from "The Hills" as LC's co-intern at Teen Vogue. We followed her and her friend Joanna as they shopped on Robertson Blvd.

In the next few days, we'll be working on "Transformers" exclusive segments, like a look at all the cars featured in the film and a segment focused on director Michael Bay. During the actual pre-show, I'll be floor-producing SuChin Pak on our homebase from the hot pink carpet. Immediately after, I'll run to the production truck to cut various pieces for the on demand post show. So yeah, a pretty busy week ahead. I must say, for the record, the L.A. offices are much bigger than the NYC offices. And they have much better lighting. Plus, Red Vines and ice cream sandwiches in the vending machines! It's ridiculous.

While fans count down to the July 3rd release of "Transformers," others are already looking towards the next chapter. Actress Megan Fox, the beauty who joins Shia LaBeouf as the main human contingent of Michael Bay's ultimate robot brawl, has confirmed to MTV that she is signed for the sequel. "I hear they're writing it now," she tells us. "So we'll see."

Fox is excited to reteam with her Cybertronian co-stars, now that she's used to acting alongside the CGI creations. "It was actually 30-foot-tall metal polls that we would talk to with cardboard cutouts for heads," she says. "They would be like Jazz's head or Optimus Prime's face and we would talk to them. And the first few takes you do you feel stupid, but then you get used to it and open up and it's actually a lot of fun."
