Angelina JolieJust as Angelina Jolie prepares to pour "Salt" on a sequel, the Oscar-winning actress looks likely to appear in an Oscar-nominated director's new film.

Just Jared reports that Jolie is meeting with "The Fighter" director David O. Russell this week to discuss collaborating together on "The Silver Linings Playbook," his new comedy adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel about a recently released mental hospital patient looking to reclaim his life. Russell, late of "Uncharted," has already cast Mark Wahlberg in the lead role.

Over the weekend, BAFTA Awards winners were honored in London. And as with any major awards ceremony, the event brought stars out from all corners of the entertainment game. As a result, interview opportunities were flying around everywhere.

One such interview was with Matthew Goode, whose "A Single Man" co-star Colin Firth was up for (and won) the Leading Actor award for his performance. 'Brideshead Revisited'By Adrianna Kourafas

Sure, everybody knows about the recent box-office success of “The Dark Knight.” But look a little further down the charts, and you’ll notice the name of a small movie-that-could pulling in some impressive summer numbers on a handful of screens: “Brideshead Revisited.”

The film stars “Watchmen” actor Matthew Goode, Oscar-winner Emma Thompson and relative newcomer Hayley Atwell. Based on a classic novel about wealth, sensuality and betrayal, Hollywood has been trying to make a film out of the 1945 Evelyn Waugh book for decades, but only now has someone like director Julian Jarrold (“Becoming Jane”) come along and figured out how to pull it off.
