'Futurama'Like "Family Guy" before it, Matt Groening's fantastic animated series "Futurama" is returning. Beginning on November 27 and continuing into '08, Fox will launch four four feature-length films on DVD - all of which will also see later syndication on Comedy Central. The studio has now announced the plot synopsis for that first 11/27 release, entitled "Bender's Big Score," while also mentioning that Al Gore, Coolio and Sarah Silverman will be making guest appearances.

From the opening frames of "The Simpsons Movie" you know that you are in good hands (from now on Ralph Wiggum should appear in every 20th Century Fox film) and it's no wonder, with brains like Matt Groening and James L. Brooks back at the helm of the franchise. Not that they ever went away, but these two, by all accounts, were much more involved in the new flick than in recent seasons of the show.
