The KillingAMC's new series "The Killing" has been, for lack of a better word, killing it. The powerful murder mystery drama has made such an impression on the small screen since its debut earlier this month that its cast is already being sought after by Hollywood to showcase their talents on the big screen.

Take, for instance, Mireille Enos, who plays the lead character Sarah Linden on the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is currently in talks to star as none other than Brad Pitt's wife in the upcoming "World War Z." The movie, based on Max Brooks' novel of the same name, follows life in a post-zombie apocalyptic world.

Check out the rest of today's biggest casting news, including another "Killing" star -- Joel Kinnaman -- making the transition to film for the thriller "Safe House."

Nothing smacks of the holidays like some good old-fashioned family bonding -- sitting around the hearth, swapping stories, sipping egg nog, reminiscing about glorious times gone by... and plotting each others' demise. OK, so the "plotting each others' demise" part probably isn't true for most families, but it sure is for the dysfunctional little unit comprised of John C. Reilly, Marisa Tomei and Jonah Hill in the black comedy "Cyrus."

Hill plays the titular Cyrus, a manchild with a serious Oedipus complex and an even more serious hatred for any man that so much as looks at his beautiful mother Molly (Tomei). So when Molly begins dating goofball divorcee John (Reilly), things get a bit -- and by a bit we mean extremely -- weird, uncomfortable and potentially dangerous, as Cyrus attempts to sabotage the relationship at every turn. The above exclusive clip highlights the aforementioned dynamic beautifully, with Cyrus quite literally spelling out his devious intentions toward John.

"Cyrus" is available now on Blu-ray and DVD, and makes the perfect stocking stuffer for any of your family members... but especially the ones who hate you.

Are you excited for "Cyrus" on Blu-ray? Tell us in the comments!

George Clooney The Ides of MarchGeorge Clooney will direct and star an adaptation of Beau Willimon's Broadway play "Farragut North," but the story's getting a different name for movie theaters: "The Ides of March." The tale of behind-the-scenes politics in a presidential primary race was originally inspired by the playwright's impressions of the 2004 Howard Dean campaign, and Ryan Gosling will join the project, which focuses on a young press spokesman caught in the storm.

Clooney will start shooting in February in Michigan and Ohio, according to a report in Variety. The cast is formidable, featuring names like Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood. The big names don't stop there, either, as Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way company will produce in cooperation with Clooney and Grant Heslov's Smoke House Pictures.

Giamatti will handle the part of a rival campaign manager, while Tomei takes on the role of a New York Times reporter and Wood appears as an intern with whom Gosling's character crosses some professional lines for a liaison. Read More...

Of Marisa Tomei's many fine qualities, one of her finest is versatility, as demonstrated in her performances as the abrasive Mona Lisa in "My Cousin Vinny," the down-on-her-luck stripper Cassidy in "The Wrestler," her latest role as Molly in "Cyrus" and her new career as... a hula-hoop manufacturer?

At the Sundance Film Festival, Tomei revealed to MTV News that she's gotten into the hula-hoop business in addition to her continued acting career. And she's determined to take this all the way.

"I kind of got into this whole hula-hoop craze," she confessed. "That happened during the time of the 'The Wrestler' so now I find myself doing hula-hoop things I didn't really think I was going to be doing!" Read More...

Every now and then a movie comes along that delights millions, but ticks off just as many with its safe, non-threatening, seemingly formulaic plotline. I'm thinking back to “RV,” “Doctor Dolittle,” even the “Ernest Goes To/Saves [insert location/event here]” films that puzzled so many with their success back in the day. Well the latest in this tradition might just be “Wild Hogs,” a harmless trifle of a family film that employed big stars and scatological humor to attract $169 million worth of viewers in 2007. And now there's a sequel on the way.

Recently, at Disney’s D23 Conference, it was announced that the sequel had been titled “Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride” and that it would begin filming soon. So when I caught up with Tim Allen recently, I had to get the scoop on where he and his biker brothers would be heading next. Read More...

Jonah HillFirst Jonah Hill nearly tackled writer/director Mark Duplass at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, going on and on about how much he loved Duplass’ debut film “The Puffy Chair,” an indie fav about two brothers who go on a cross-country road trip. Then Hill went and told The New York Times that the film was one of his favorite movies of all time. By that point, Duplass figured the two of them should make some movie magic together.

So they did, along with Duplass’ brother and collaborator, Jay. “The Untitled Duplass Brothers Project,” as it continues to be known after recently wrapping a six week shoot in Los Angeles, stars Hill as the son of a single mother (Marisa Tomei) who begins a relationship with a 40-something guy (John C. Reilly) with a failed marriage in his past.

“[Tomei’s character] is very much out of his league,” Duplass explained to MTV News in a recent interview. “They light up an incredible relationship but she doesn’t really let him in and he finds himself on the other side of the coin, like wanting the snuggle and he can’t get it.” Read More...

Jonah HillThis movie might sound like every dysfunctional family comedy you have ever seen, but one name should make you sit up and say "Ok, that will probably be funny." That name is Jonah Hill. Reilly will play a recently divorced man who meets the woman of his dreams, played by Tomei. But he has to try and contend with her teenage son (Hill), who has no intention of sharing his mother's affections with another man. Read More...
