DAILIES: A 'Justice League' Movie And A Rebooted 'Batman' Coming To A Theater Near You

Justice LeagueConsider yourself warned: "Justice" could be headed to theaters near you in 2013.

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros. president Jeff Robinov dropped two major bombshells for DC Comics fans: a new reboot of Batman is in the works, and a "Justice League" movie should (finally) be hitting theaters in 2013. According to him, the new Batman flick would come after "The Dark Knight Rises" hits theaters, and the "Justice League" film is a way to fill the void left when "Harry Potter" ends this summer.

Five 'Kung Fu Panda' And Two 'How To Train Your Dragon' Sequels Are On The Way!

How to Train Your DragonAre you a fan of "Kung Fu Panda" and "How To Train Your Dragon"? We sure hope so, because you're about to get a whole lot more from both franchises!

DreamWorks Animation chief Jeffrey Katzenberg spoke with Empire about the developing sequels to some of the studio's most important properties. During the interview, Katzenberg revealed that there are five more "Kung Fu Panda" movies on the way — the forthcoming "Kaboom of Doom" included, presumably — as well as at least two more installments of "How To Train Your Dragon."

"'Kung Fu Panda' actually has 6 chapters to it, and we’ve mapped that out over the years," he said. "'How To Train Your Dragon' is at least three: maybe more, but we know there are a least three chapters to that story." Read More...

DreamWorks Announces 'Shrek' Sequel, Roles for Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey in 'Oobermind'

MadagascarDreamWorks Animation and its recently renewed CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg today unveiled big announcements for the studio's animation plans through 2012, with new sequels for the "Shrek," "Kung-Fu Panda," and "Madagascar" franchises and parts for Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey in next year's "Oobermind." The flurry of announcements came during an investor's call in which Katzenberg also issued an edict that all forthcoming Dreamworks Animation features will be produced in 3-D.

"We now have three very successful franchises, but we also want to tell new stories," DWA co-prexy of production Bill Damaschke told Variety. "Now, in addition to one or two sequels a year, we’ll have a new original as well." Read More...
