The kind of day that Jake Gyllenhaal is having over and over and over again in "Source Code" makes "Groundhog Day" look like a walk in the park.

A second trailer for director Duncan Jones' follow-up to the criminally underappreciated "Moon" arrived online today, showcasing the time travel narrative at the core of the film: "Source Code" stars Gyllenhaal as Colter Stevens, a military man repeatedly sent back through time to investigate a terrorist bombing and prevent further attacks. If you enjoyed the first trailer, you're going to love this.

Awesome as it is, the new "Source Code" trailer isn't the only major headline in the movies world today. After the jump, check out some updates on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" score and "Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz's next project!

Clash of the TitansDirector Louis Leterrier's man-vs.-Greek-gods epic "Clash of the Titans" grossed a hearty $493 million worldwide earlier this year, thanks in part to the fact that it was the first major release to employ 3-D after "Avatar" revolutionized the format. But despite the allure of 3-D helping to beef up its box-office haul, "Titans" was taken to task by critics for the not-so-seamless nature of the three-dimensional effects, which were added after the movie had already been filmed in 2-D.

MTV News's Rick Marshall caught up with Leterrier in advance of his appearance at Long Beach Comic Con on October 30, and the director spoke frankly about his 3-D remorse and the status of the "Clash of the Titans" sequel.

"Obviously, we would have done it completely differently," he admitted of the 3-D. "I'm not the guy paying for it, so the decision to convert it in 3-D was not mine, but seeing a couple of tests, I was supporting it. My concerns were always about the schedule. Everyone had concerns about it, because we were very aware that with these visual effects, we spent so many weeks perfectly completing them so they don't stick out... They have a tendency to get broken visually when you're converting everything to 3-D. Rotoscoping everything makes everything stick out, therefore making what's not real stick out more. I like my visual effects to be as seamless as possible. Integrated as much as possible. So this was a concern." Read More...

"I'm not saying I know what exactly will happen to [Sam Worthington's] Perseus in the next two movies, but I know the direction and it's pretty exciting." That quote comes from Louis Leterrier, director of the weekend hit "Clash of the Titans." No formal announcement has been made concerning a sequel, but the franchise's key players are definitely thinking about what's ahead for Perseus. The record-setting weekend box office performance certainly didn't hurt those sequel talks. For more from Leterrier, as well as writers Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, check out Eric Ditzian's full report on MTV.com.

One of my favorite "10 in '10" interviews this week is with "Clash of the Titans" director Louis Leterrier. I've enjoyed every bit of the movie that's been revealed so far, and can't wait until it hits theaters on March 26. I usually tend to be wary of remakes, but this one looks like pure blockbuster to me. Bring it on.

In his "10 in '10" interview, Leterrier enlightened on the status of "Clash," where the production is at in these final weeks before release, what his expectations are and how he feels now that the bulk of the work is done. What the interview doesn't get into is Leterrier's take on "Clash" as a possible franchise. He had some things to say on that count however, and I'm pleased to share those words with you here on MTV Movies Blog. Read More...

"Clash of the Titans" director Louis Leterrier was an easy choice for this week's "10 in '10" interview series. "Clash" has all the makings of a blockbuster with enough drawing power to kick off the spring/summer season early when it hits theaters on March 26 of this year. As a special treat, and complement to our "10 in '10" interview with Leterrier, we've got a pair of exclusive behind the scenes photos from the set of "Clash." DESCUPDATE: We checked with Warner for confirmation. Here's what they had to say: "Heat Vision's report regarding the 'Clash' in 3-D is true. It may or may not be [released] in 3-D. At this point I don't know that we'll know in the next 10 days."

Sam Worthington is already the leading man behind the most successful 3-D film of all time in "Avatar," which may well turn into the most successful movie of all time, period. Is he going to go for a repeat performance in the world of 3-D with "Clash of the Titans," the upcoming mythology epic? That depends upon who you believe.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is in the midst of deciding whether or not to release "Clash of the Titans" in 3-D. The studio has reportedly ordered a 3-D test of the film and will show off the converted scenes next week in an effort to determine whether or not "Clash" should see a 3-D release. The final decision is expected to come in the next 10 days, which is certainly down to the wire given the film's March 26, 2010 release date. Read More...

"Clash of the Titans" hits theaters on March 26, 2010. It will be director Louis Leterrier's follow-up to the 2008 Marvel Comics flick "The Incredible Hulk" and only his fourth feature as a director ("Transporter 2" and the Jet Li-starring "Unleashed" being the other two). Leterrier has honed his craft quite a bit through the years, and all signs suggest that "Clash" will be his biggest and best effort yet.

That said, there are still a few burning questions that fans want some answers on. The massive success of "Avatar," which also stars "Clash" lead Sam Worthington, has left many people wondering if the movie will be in 3-D. In fact, Worthington even mentioned the possibility of a 3-D release in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times. There's also news that emerged earlier this week that British rock group Muse had been asked to score the movie. It's something they were interested in doing, frontman Matt Bellamy said in an interview with the Daily Star.

In an interview with MTV News earlier today (part of a longer upcoming feature we'll be posting on Louis' big year) Leterrier set the record straight at last on the 3-D and soundtrack rumors. Read More...

Many of us woke up this morning to the sight of an exciting new trailer, for Louis Leterrier's remake of "Clash of the Titans." Other than a footage-lite set visit, we really haven't seen anything from the actual movie until now. And it's looking pretty sweet, as you saw in the trailer this morning. This latest edition of Freeze Frame doesn't make it look any sweeter, but it does get a whole lot funnier. Enjoy.

While there isn't any actual footage from the upcoming remake of "Clash of the Titans" out there, I've got the next best thing for you. On last week's episode of "Behind the Screen," we paid a visit to the set of the Sam Worthington-starring film, which is currently shooting in Wales.

In the video below you can check out interviews with Worthingon, Mads Mikkelson, Nicholas Hoult and Liam Cunningham as well as raw footage from the shoot. So not quite the polished clip you might want to see, but good stuff nonetheless.
