Tracy Morgan may have had the most re-tweeted post of the day in my personal Twitter follow feed. I've re-tweeted it myself so that you can find out what he'll do for $15.

In other Twitter news, David Slade elaborated on a photo he posted yesterday, clarifying that the headlight shown does belong to Bella Swan's truck in "Eclipse." And speaking of "Twilight" movies, Jamie Campbell Bower took top honors for Twitter Pic of the Day today. I'm not entirely sure what his sign means or what promises he's fulfilling for his fans, but you can check it out and make that judgment for yourselves. Check all of those quotes and pics out below, along with Lindsay Lohan's paparazzi triumph, the puppet that hit on Ice-T's wife and much more. It's all after the jump in the Twitter-Wood report for October 21, 2009. Read more...

Sometimes when director and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst stares into the Internet, the Internet stares back, and when you see what he saw, I think you'll understand why I selected this image as the Twitter Pic of the Day. Plus, if you're still contemplating Halloween costumes for this year, there's some golden inspiration awaiting you.

Twitter-Wood saw some drama in addition to the horror today, though, as Lindsay Lohan vented frustrations about communicating with Samantha Ronson. Those tweets are posted below along with Robert Rodriguez's first-day appraisal of "Predators" filming, David Slade's expectations for "Eclipse" today and Jon Favreau's in-house reenactment of "Couples Retreat." All of that and more lurks below in the Twitter-Wood report for October 13, 2009. Read more...

This video just goes to show you: when Danny Trejo asks for action, Danny Trejo gets action. Does that look like a man you want to eff with? I didn't think so. And now that Trejo will be joined in "Machete" by the oddball supporting cast of Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Steven Seagal, Don Johnson, Cheech Marin, Jeff Fahey ("Lawnmower Man"!!!!) and Jessica Alba, everyone on the planet has to see it. It's a requirement. Seriously. I think the world might explode if we don't.

"Machete," the first film spawned from the too-cool trailers peppering Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez' "Grindhouse" double feature will begin shooting next week, according to Rodriguez -- and Lindsay Lohan has a role waiting for her.

The "Sin City" director dropped by Movies Blog HQ to promote his upcoming family-friendly feature "Shorts," and while he was there, we had to get an update on the Danny Trejo-starring trailer that's soon to become a full-length film.

"I can't say too much about it except we start shooting in a couple weeks," Rodriguez told MTV News. "These things come together very quickly and we're casting right now. The script just came out great."

Along with addressing the uncommon need for the film to live up to its trailer, the director said the only official casting thus far has been Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez. While he wouldn't confirm rumors that Robert DeNiro might have a role in the film, he did say that Lindsay Lohan has a part waiting for... if she wants it.

"Lindsay's cool," said Rodriguez. "There's actually cool part in the movie for her if she takes it."

Looking forward to "Machete"? What do you think about Robert DeNiro or Lindsay Lohan joining the cast?

Tom CruiseEven us film geeks at MTV Movies Blog must admit that there are times when we experience cognitive dissonance between our favorite actors and the characters they portray. Sometimes, an actor capable of delivering a beautiful performance can come off as something very different when thrust in the public eye. In other words, even the most talented performers can suffer from some severe image problems.

Need some examples? Here are five Hollywood personalities whose work we adore, but who could use a bit of a makeover when it comes to their public persona. Remember guys, we're saying this because we love you. Here's some unsolicited advice for a few of our favorite bad boys (and girls). Just a note that those awesome pictures after the jump are the work of MTV's talented associate producer/photoshop ninja/silent assassin Sohyung Kang. If you'd like to see them in their full-size glory, make sure to check out our "Hollywood's Public Enemies" flipbook! Read more...

Lindsay LohanAs we all know, these days Lindsay Lohan is known for everything but her acting ability. Still, you have to admire the girl for her determination to try again... and try again she will in a fantasy comedy directed by David Michaels called "The Other Side." According to Variety, Lohan joins a diverse cast that includes Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morissette.

Lohan will play the lead role of a grad student who is assigned to spend the summer working at a science research outpost on a remote island. Naturally, those who live there are a little offbeat, and the student discovers their eccentricities are hiding the sad secret of an accident that happened many years prior to her arrival. Lindsay Lohan has been quite vocal about the difficulties she's had in trying to secure work in Hollywood. She says that she'd love to be getting more work but, thanks to her murky past, people aren't supporting her. "And yes, the Web sites, the gossip pages and all of that stuff have hurt my career — they're like the burn books of Hollywood," she recently told Nylon.

Now comes some bad news about her upcoming movie "Labor Pains," a comedy about a woman who fakes a pregnancy to save herself from getting fired. Not only does the film not have an international release date scheduled, it now isn't getting a theatrical release in the U.S. at all. Instead, "Labor Pains" will head straight to cable before getting released on DVD this summer.

Lindsay LohanThere are a lot of things you could call Lindsay Lohan. Heck, she’s heard ‘em all. But what does co-star Kevin Covais call the once and future tabloid queen? “A sweetheart! Very personable,” Covais said of Lohan, his co-star in “Labor Pains. “I think it’s important that people recognize that. She’s really great.”

“Labor Pains,” in which Lilo stars as an office worker who fakes a pregnancy in order to avoid getting fired, is the actress’s first venture into straight out comedy since, well, probably since “Mean Girls” all the way back in 2004. While that movie was an unqualified success, the intervening years have not been kind to Lohan’s career. Much of that, of course, is nobody’s fault but her own, her admitted drug abuse causing problems on films like “Georgia Rule,” where she was reportedly late for work on several occasions or otherwise not prepared.

But that was the old Lindsay Lohan. The new? Read more...
