It's hard to hear the voice of the Muscles from Brussels himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and not imagine the action super star uppercutting the air. As it turns out, that's probably what he's actually doing.
In this exclusive behind the scenes featurette from the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of "Kung Fu Panda 2," you get a peak at what it was like for Van Damme while he recorded his voice track for the film.

FROM MTV MOVIES: Two years ago, "The Hangover" writer/director Todd Phillips told MTV News: "I love 'The Hangover' so much and I think we could crush it with the sequel." In terms of ticket sales, at least, he was right.
"The Hangover Part II" crushed a box-office record over the weekend, grossing $86 million from Friday-to-Sunday, the biggest opening ever for a live-action comedy. Thanks to the Memorial Day holiday and a Thursday debut, the buddy sequel (which swaps Las Vegas for Thailand) has already made $117 million. "The Hangover" opened with $45 million in 2009. "Part II" stands just behind "The Matrix Reloaded" on the list of R-rated openings.
Another sequel, "Kung Fu Panda 2," was the #2 movie at the box office, according to studio estimates. Featuring the voice of Jack Black in the title role, the animated kids' flick debuted with $47.8 million over the four-day weekend. The movie's 3-D screenings accounted for about 45 percent of its business. The film's opening weekend total was less than that of the first film, despite many positive reviews. "The Hangover Part II," by comparison, was a flop with critics.

Who expected "Kung Fu Panda" to be as charming as it was? Dreamworks had a shaky history of 3-D films that were big on star power and small on substance, but one barely noticed all the celebrity voices in between the tightly polished jokes and immaculate animation. Especially fun was how the movie paid righteous tribute to kung fu tradition, from the deftly choreographed fight scenes to the standard character types like the wise guru, the hot-headed proteges and of course, poor clueless Po.
Po whipped himself into fighting shape by film's end, and the upcoming sequel will see where he's gone since. But how would he stack up against characters from kung fu lore? Fighting films used to be huge in American pop culture, but faded out as guns and gratuitous violence went en vogue. Here's where we think he'd end up in a battle royale against some of history's greatest kung fu fighters, reality aside (because, um, talking panda bears don't exist).

"Toy Story 3" gets the awards-season glory, "Shrek" stands as the most successful animated series of all-time, but I confess one of my favorite CGI flicks of the last several years remains 2008's "Kung Fu Panda." Even when I catch snippets on TV, Jack Black's wild, panda abandon never gets old. The fight sequences manage to be both creative and LOL-inducing. And, as my 10-year-old cousin can attest, there's a potent moral hidden within that's a bit cheesy but also super truthful.
But in breaking down a film into a cinematic laundry list, we shouldn't miss the overall point: as a whole, "Kung Fu Panda" is just so much darn fun. And that's exactly what the sequel is too: a blast. Here are five reasons why you need to check out "Kung Fu Panda 2."

It feels somewhat off to call "Kung Fu Panda 2's" Jack Black and Angelina Jolie co-stars. Their animated characters Po and Tigress spend on-screen time together, but Black and Jolie solely worked off-screen, lending their voices to the upcoming sequel of their wildly successful 2008 flick.
But that doesn't mean moviegoers may never get to see them on film together someday. MTV News caught up with the stars at the Cannes Film Festival's "Kung Fu Panda 2" premiere, and they discussed the possibility of working together on a live-action movie at some point down the line.
"We haven't really talked about it, even in a joking way," Black admitted, "We haven't talked [about] it in any type of way." But things soon got rolling when Jolie chimed in about the idea of working with Black again in a different capacity: "I would love to."

There's a lot of pressure on Tigress, the team leader of the Furious Five in the "Kung Fu Panda" series. She's smart, she's cunning, she's much more than capable — but she's not the chosen one, despite all of the strengths she's cultivated since childhood. No, that's an honor bestowed upon an overweight bear without a clue in the world. Pretty fair, right?
Similarly, there was some pressure on superstar Angelina Jolie as she prepared to dive into the role of Tigress for the first time. We spoke with the actress at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in France this week, and she revealed that she explored a wide range of vocal techniques before nailing down her signature sound.
"I did, I did," Jolie told us. "I've never loved my own voice. Like most people, you hear your own voice and you think, 'Ugh.'"

Say it with me now: ska-doosh!
If you're a big fan of "Kung Fu Panda" like I am, then you're going to love this: as we rush towards the finish line of Summer Movie Preview week, we're bringing you an exclusive clip from "Kung Fu Panda 2," this summer's sequel to the DreamWorks animated martial arts epic.
Jack Black once again provides the voice of Po, the legendary Dragon Warrior who now fights alongside the Furious Five as an equal. His powers are put to the test with the arrival of Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), an evil peacock hell-bent on wreaking havoc against our kung fu heroes. In the clip, you'll see an awesome sequence of Po and his pals swinging into the thick of battle — no actual fisticuffs, sadly, but it's a great tease at the animated action coming our way this summer.

A whole slew of new trailers have invaded the online space in the past day — and let's just say if you're a fan of action and animation, someone up there is looking out for you.
Up first is what's being described as the first full-length trailer for "Game of Thrones," the forthcoming HBO fantasy series based on the novels by George R.R. Martin. Not the first "Thrones" footage we've seen, but certainly the best. Viewers are getting their greatest glimpse yet at Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage and the other acclaimed actors on board for "Thrones," and we definitely like what we're seeing.
Watch that trailer plus two more — one for "Puss in Boots," the other for "Kung Fu Panda 2" — past the jump!

I present the following statement with absolutely no shame: I am incredibly excited about "Kung Fu Panda 2." The first entry in the animated martial arts series was a total delight thanks to a truly accomplished voice cast, beautiful animation and masterful choreography. If the second "Kung Fu Panda" brings even half of that same energy to the table, we're in for a good time.
Luckily, it looks like "Kung Fu Panda 2" isn't going to disappoint. Not only are Jack Black and the whole gang back together for round two, but a fantastic lineup of additional actors have come aboard led by Gary Oldman as the villainous peacock Lord Shen.
That's great to hear and all, but what you really want is footage. Well, we've got footage. After the jump, check out a sneak peek at the 30-second "Kung Fu Panda" TV spot that's going to be airing this Sunday during the Super Bowl!
