FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: In some of their final stops on the New York City press tour for "New Moon," Robert Pattinson visited the set of "Late Show with David Letterman" and Kristen Stewart hung out with Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

The Letterman show was fueled with the topic of "New Moon." In his opening monologue he commented that vampire teens stay up all night and then sleep all day, adding, "Isn't that every teenager? When you think about it, isn't that what other kids do?" and elaborating, "These teenagers not only drain you of your blood but they also empty your refrigerator." In his mockery of Barack Obama's interview with Fox News, he claimed the number four highlight of the interview was he began a feud over which twilight star is hunkier, Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner.

FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Between the grocery aisle and the magazine aisle, in the past few months, we haven't been able to get away from "New Moon" mania. So we at Hollywood Crush have decided to compile a list of all the magazines the various stars of "The Twilight Saga" have graced in recent months for your viewing pleasure. After you take the walk down memory lane, take our poll so we can decide which magazine nailed your vision for the stars the best!

1. Robert, Kristen and Taylor on EW, November 2009

In this past week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, the magazine sat down and asked Kristen, Taylor and Rob the important questions (or the only questions that haven't been asked yet). They got some funny stuff about Edward Cullen's brief stint with long hair and Taylor's fight for Jacob Black, and also caught Kristen's relationship joke of, "We are. We aren't. I'm a lesbian" on a voice recorder.

"New Moon" premiered on Monday night in Los Angeles. We were there of course, covering it. And since MTV couldn't bring you the actual movie, we did the next best thing: a pair of "New Moon" TV specials offering an inside look into everyone's favorite vampire series.

First was "'New Moon' Revealed," which I ran on the blog for your viewing pleasure yesterday. The special answered fans five burning questions about Friday's hottest release. Now I'm happy to bring you the second special, "Love Bites," which examines the relationship between "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as it has progressed over the past year-plus. Check it out below.

FROM MTV.COM: A year ago at this time, people were finally comprehending the scope of "Twilight" mania. Rob and Kristen were treated like rock stars, thousands of fans were eager to share their "little secret" with the world, and a tiny Taylor Lautner enthusiastically posed with fans, simply hoping they'd want him back for more.

On Monday evening (November 16), "New Moon" mania took over at the film's red-carpet premiere. And like Taylor's presence in the sequel, it's bigger, better and far more muscular.

FROM MTV.COM: By now every Twilighter knows the story well. Taylor Lautner almost lost the role of werewolf Jacob Black for "New Moon." But he hit the gym, packed on 30 pounds of muscle and secured the coveted part opposite Kristen Stewart. What we don't know as well is what went on behind the scenes when the casting decision was being deliberated at Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the vampire saga.

It turns out that at least one star was doing her best to make sure Lautner was not replaced. "I definitely fought for him," Kristen Stewart told MTV News on the red carpet at the "New Moon" premiere on Monday night. "I was totally on his side the entire time."

Tonight marks the Los Angeles premiere of a little movie called "New Moon." Perhaps you've heard of it? Ace MTV reporter and Twilighter-in-residence Larry Carroll will be to chat with the star-studded cast as they arrive. Make sure you browse your way over to Hollywood Crush for our LIVE BLOG, featuring text updates from our crew on the ground in Los Angeles.

But wait! There's more! While we can't smuggle our cameras in to shoot the actual premiere -- Summit Entertainment has some issues with that, if you can believe it -- we can give you the next best thing: a pair of "New Moon"-themed half hour specials, beamed straight into your living room from 10pm to 11pm ET. Twilighters know Billy Burke as the loveable-but-somewhat-clueless Charlie Swan, Bella’s dad in the on-screen saga. But the veteran actor has never been busier than he is now – with a half-dozen side projects and films currently in some stage of development – and is excited to be bringing his real-life wife and daughter into the mix.

“I did a film called ‘Luster,’ that was being done by friends of mine, and we threw that one together in 3 to 4 weeks,” he said of the indie thriller. “It’s a psychological thriller.” Read more...

"New Moon" hits theaters next Friday. Kinda snuck up on you, didn't it? No? Fine then. It's still out next week. And since you readers so enjoy the works of Stephenie Meyer and subsequent big screen adaptations, it's kind of a big deal here in the MTV Newsroom. Across the entire MTV network, really. Which begs the question of how exactly we're going to service the tidal wave-sized fan demand for cool s--t related to the latest "Twilight" movie's release.

Primetime specials, that's how. "Specials" is plural because there'll be two of them: "Love Bites" and "'New Moon' Revealed." Set aside an hour on Monday evening, because MTV will be airing the two specials back-to-back -- "Bites" first, then "Revealed" -- starting at 10pm ET/PT. Read more...

FROM MTV.COM: Dating all the way back to names like Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Fatty Arbuckle, Shirley Temple and the Little Rascals, it seems like young overnight Hollywood sensations have been around for as long as Edward Cullen has been a vampire. Some have navigated the choppy waters of fame and gone on to great careers (Jodie Foster, Johnny Depp), while others (Jan-Michael Vincent, Lindsay Lohan) haven't been so lucky.

In the past year, names like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been splashed across supermarket tabloids, "hot" lists and paparazzi-stalking itineraries. But when we recently caught up with Stewart to discuss the stars' upcoming return in "New Moon," she insisted that A-level fame isn't really as bad as it's sometimes made out to be.

FROM MTV.COM: Late last month, during MTV's "Ulalume: Howling at New Moon" special, we debuted the catalyzing scene in the upcoming "Twilight" sequel, that traumatic moment that drives all the action in the film: when Bella Swan's 18th birthday party with the Cullen family turns from joyous occasion to violent game-changer.

As committed Twilighters know, Kristen Stewart's Bella nicks her finger while opening up a present, and the sight of fresh blood triggers the need for Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) to do a little vampire feeding. In steps Robert Pattinson's Edward to smack down Jasper and make sure not a hair on his beloved's head is touched. Their relationship is forever altered.
