TerminatorArnold Schwarzenegger is "The Terminator." No, really.

According to Deadline, the former Governor, who is making his long-awaited return to the big screen, will revive the legendary franchise that kept his status as a bona fide action star intact throughout the '80s and '90s. While there's no writer yet attached to the project, "Fast Five" director Justin Lin could helm the next installment of the "Terminator" saga, which will -- say it with me -- bring Arnold "baaahk."

Check out the rest of Tuesday's biggest casting news from Hollywood, including additions to "The Hunger Games," as well as a plea from Kristen Bell to appear in the big screen adaptation.

There's nothing Will Arnett or Jason Bateman could do that we here at MTV Movies Blog wouldn't be interested in, even if it's just commercials.

And that's exactly what their venture Dumb Dumb is doing: reshaping our ideas of commercials with the help of College Humor. Dumb Dumb launched in July 2010 with the short film "Prom Date" in promotion of Orbit, and now the duo is at it again with "Always Open!," a new talk show nestled in the comforting confines of your local Denny's.

Surely there hasn't been a better venue for an online video show since Zach Galifianakis set up shop between two ferns, and host David Koechner is making use of the way America's favorite breakfast joint brings out the best in people for Dumb Dumb's newest show. The first episode premiered yesterday with Bateman as its guest.

Kristen BellIf you're a "Veronica Mars" fan itching for the series to make a much deserved comeback, fret not — you've got solid company in the form of Kristen Bell herself. The actress has long championed for a theatrical resurrection of the beloved television franchise, going so far as to recently declare that she would self-finance a "Veronica Mars" movie if she had to.

The Hollywood Reporter quotes Bell as having said that she "absolutely would" finance a "Veronica Mars" movie on her own, but that's not the biggest obstacle facing the franchise — with or without Bell's own money, the property is owned by Warner Bros., and they've shown no signs of moving forward with a movie.

"It's a business and the sad truth is that ... they're not going to relinquish the rights to something and let us do it," explained Bell. "We really have to do it with them because they own it." Read More...

Wil Wheaton summed up the reactions of gamers everywhere today when 2K Games revealed at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle that a playable version of the epically delayed game "Duke Nukem Forever" would be playable for the show.

Others in Twitter-Wood were more concerned with movies, which is appropriate since that's where they make their money. Kristen Bell has been prodding at her followers to tell Warner Bros. they want to see a "Veronica Mars" movie, Ashton Kutcher checked out the "Family Guy" take on "Return of the Jedi," and Rainn Wilson discussed a remake of "The Rocker." Check out what he'd like to do with that down below and see who's going to a midnight screening of "Machete."

Find out what they jumped on after the break. I'm @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for September 3, 2010. Read More...

Let me set the scene: four of the stars of "You Again" gather to do some press. Betty White, Sigourney Weaver, Odette Yustman and Kristen Bell. Things are going fine enough until Bell decides to go off on a long-winded explanation of character motivations and... snore. Her co-stars feel the same way, and they tell her so.

Let me tell you something-- you do not want to be on the receiving end of a Betty White/Sigourney Weaver tag team assault. You also do not want to disrespect Weaver, or mention "Avatar" in her presence. Thanks Funny or Die. I'll never get tired of seeing the White take people down a peg.

Production on "Scream 4" is currently underway in Michigan, though the involved actors aren't saying squat about what's going on there. Not that it deters the unstoppable juggernaut that is the world of entertainment news reporting.

USA Today brings word that Kristen Bell and "True Blood" star Anna Paquin will be appearing in the movie in cameos. There's no word on what roles they'll be playing, but the series has a history of killing off major stars; Drew Barrymore was famously murdered in the opening minutes of the first movie after getting a top billing for her role.

Personally, I'm convinced that Neve Campbell, and possibly David and Courteney Arquette, are going to be the shocking kill-offs in the early going of "Scream 4." Wouldn't it be kind of awesome if Bell and Paquin turned out to be the killers, in much the same way that Matt Lillard and Skeet Ulrich were in the first movie?

A federal judge's decision to overturn California's Prop 8 ban on gay marriage yesterday caught the attention of Twitter-Wood and the rest of the Internet. Kristen Bell and Eliza Dusku both approved of the development, while Dax Shepard was concerned that his anti-Prop 8 sentiments may have resulted in the loss of his account's "Verified" status. Elizabeth Banks made a similar discovery, though she didn't link its disappearance to Prop 8 and appears to be Verified once again, as of the the time I wrote this.

In other tweeting, Paris Hilton met Sandra Bullock for the first time, John Cho made a eye-opening discovery about "American Pie" and Snoop Dogg turned a photo op with with Mario Van Peebles into a TwitPic post. "Veronica Mars" was canceled in 2007, but there is still a sizable contingent of fans out there who want to see more of the Kristen Bell-led CW television series. A contingent that isn't large enough, according to producer Joel Silver, who MTV spoke with at the press junket for "Splice."

"We analyzed all these areas about it," he sad. "I talked to [the Warner Bros.] home-video people about it, because a movie like that would be driven by home video. But the home video itself didn't do that well for 'Veronica Mars,' so [the department] didn't feel there was a need or an audience for a direct-to-video 'Veronica Mars,' which could have driven a theatrical release." Lost-- Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse won't explain the ending of "Lost" after it airs. Lindelof says: "We're going to be as definitive as we can be and say this is our ending, but there's no way to end the show where the fans aren't going to say, 'What did they mean by this?' Which is why we're not going to explain it." [The Live Feed]

If Sony needs a writer for their 3-D "Popeye" project, they've got one enthusiastic applicant on Twitter by the name of Brian Lynch. He and Diablo Cody exchanged thoughts on a treatment today, and predicted what direction they believe the movie will take.

Edgar Wright, meanwhile, already knows what direction "Kick-Ass" takes, and he shared his post-screening assessment while Chistopher Mintz-Plasse reflected on the film's London premiere last night. Find out about the event yourself after the jump and see who tried out for "The Smurfs," who has a Chatroulette habit, what Kristen Bell was up to last night and who got bumped by Chris Rock.
