What's a boy to do if he has the special ability to speak to the dead and his town becomes infested by zombies? According to the new teaser trailer for "ParaNorman," the answer is to apparently take it with a grain of salt.

The upcoming 3D stop-motion animated film, due out in August, comes from "Coraline" director Chris Butler and "The Tale of Despereaux" helmer Seth Fell. "ParaNorman" definitely aligns itself thematically with "Coraline," especially with Donovan's "Season of the Witch" being played in the background of the trailer. The teaser focuses more on the creepy, impressive stop-motion animation in the movie than on any sort of plot line, but it is better-served by that. The next trailer released can spend its time showing off "ParaNorman's" impressive voice cast.

Let Me InIn honor of the October 1 release of "Let Me In," we're going to let YOU in on a little secret: New Yorkers who hit up the 7:20 p.m. showing of the vampire flick at the Loews Lincoln Square on Saturday, October 2, will be treated to a post-screening Q&A with director Matt Reeves moderated by MTV's Josh Horowitz.

In case you're not familiar with "Let Me In," it's based on the acclaimed Swedish film "Let the Right One In," about a bullied 12-year-old boy who finds his soul mate in an ages-old vampire who happens to be trapped in the body of a young girl.

This is the prime opportunity to ask Reeves all of your burning questions about vampire genitalia (if you've seen the original, you know what we're talking about), working with "Kickass" Hit Girl Chloe Moretz (she's the vamp) and "The Road" Boy Kodi Smit-McPhee (he's the bullied kid), and anything else your brain can conjure. Vampires have taken the back seat to superheroes this Comic-Con, but their presence is still causing quite a stir. The "True Blood" panel last night had fans going crazy over footage shown and cast appearances, and today "Let Me In" -- based on the acclaimed Swedish film "Let the Right One In" -- is taking over Hall H and we've got the brand new trailer. The film follows a young boy who meets a young girl who happens to be a full-fledged vamp.

No need to worry about missing the panel if you are not in San Diego, though, because MTV is proud to have exclusively debuted the full length trailer during our livestream earlier today. Fans who were part of the chat room during the show were enthusiastic about the footage shown, and said they thought fans should definitely check out the original pic as well.

"Let Me In" hits theaters on October 1, 2010, and stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Richard Jenkins.

What did you think of the trailer? Are you looking forward to seeing this film?

While fans continue to pour out in droves to see "Eclipse," the moviegoing world today gets its first look at another highly anticipated vampire movie that's coming out this year. When 2008 Swedish film "Let the Right One In" was first announced for an Americanized remake, people were skeptical.

Then puzzle pieces started to assemble. Matt Reeves was confirmed as the director. Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee came on as the child stars. The setting shifted from snowy Swedish landscapes to the barren desolation of New Mexico. Clearly, this is a movie that's trying to blaze its own trail.

Now the international trailer is out, the first look we've gotten at the movie. And you know what? It looks pretty good. You'll have to wait until October to see the whole thing, but hit the jump to check out the creepy trailer. Read More...
