If you happened to catch any of the behind-the-scenes footage from the latest "Indiana Jones" film, which hit the net briefly this week, you saw star Harrison Ford practice his whip technique over and over again, training himself for the complex maneuvers needed for his stunts.

Shia LaBeouf had a similar indulgence – if not the same excuse - the 21-year-old joked when we sat down for an extended interview recently to discuss all manner of things "Crystal Skull" related.

"There wasn't a lot of down time, but when we would have down time we were sort of in these insane, remote locations. It wasn't like we got to lounge in our trailers and things like that. [But] I always had my switchblade on me. It just became my thing to do," LaBeouf confessed, revealing how he would practice flipping and opening the weapon in preparation for his scenes.
